It absorbs lightly without feeling greasy, making it suitable even for those with oily skin. There aren't many milk/emulsion-type essences suitable for applying to damp hair as a first step, but this one has just the right texture. The price is high for the amount you get, and the ingredients are a bit disappointing. It's not enough to use alone or as a substitute for a treatment. I'm not really sure about its effectiveness in improving damaged hair either. I recommend applying this to damp hair as a first step, then blow-drying, and following up with an oil-type essence on the ends of your hair. - lu******Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 2, 2023
First off, the scent is truly delightful, just as you'd expect from the trusted Tsubaki line. It doesn't cause any blemishes, and it absorbs well into the hair! I'm using the shampoo and conditioner from the same line, which makes the fragrance last even longer - a big plus in my book! The volume is a bit on the small side. With my long hair, I go through a bottle in just a month. However, if you catch it on sale, the price seems reasonable for the amount you get! I apply it when my hair is still damp before blow-drying, and then once more before using my Airwrap. This routine really makes my hair look healthy and shiny! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedOct 24, 2022
I love it! It seems to be bringing my damaged hair back to life. It's really great in every way, but the quality comes with a high price tag. Still, I'm satisfied. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 3, 2021
It really moisturizes well and feels great. When I dry my hair after using this, it becomes so soft and silky. The ingredients are a bit questionable. While the fragrance is nice and it feels good to use, it's a shame about the formulation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 31, 2020
The moment you apply it, it absorbs instantly into your hair, giving you a feeling of improved hair texture. However, the effect doesn't seem to last very long. It seems quite expensive for the amount you get. Even though I only applied a small amount to the ends of my hair, it didn't even last two months. I recommend applying a small amount to the ends of your hair when it's damp. If you apply it near the scalp, it might make your hair slightly greasy. - je***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 29, 2020
It feels light and refreshing on the skin. The fragrance is subtle and not irritating. The staying power is a bit disappointing. It seems to lack a rich, moisturizing feel. - qb******Dry SkinRecommendedDec 9, 2019
It feels like a lightweight hydrating emulsion that's easier to apply than oil. Great for damaged hair ends and especially nice in summer. Looking at the ingredients, I'm a bit disappointed. And the scent... it's rather generic? The artificial fragrance doesn't seem to match Tsubaki's luxurious image. In winter, you can layer it with a bit of oil for extra nourishment. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinNov 22, 2019
I didn't feel like my hair was neatly styled after applying it. Instead, it became frizzy and dry, which was disappointing. Next time, I'll try using it when my hair is about 80% dry. After applying it to the damaged parts of my hair and waiting 10 minutes, I noticed my hair looked even frizzier. Despite its thin consistency and supposed hydration, it not only failed to style my hair but made it even drier, which I really dislike. When used on completely dry hair, it seems to make it sticky, and overall, it feels ineffective. It should be used when hair is about half to mostly dry, and when applying to completely dry hair, the amount needs to be carefully controlled. Otherwise, it might make your hair sticky and clumpy. - id******Oily SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesEnlarged PoresOct 8, 2019
I have incredibly thick, frizzy hair, and I was worried that using enough hair oil to be effective would make it greasy. Plus, I'm not a fan of oil formulas touching my skin or clothes. After searching around, I decided to try this hair milk product. The emulsion formula is fantastic - I can apply a generous amount without it feeling heavy, and it penetrates my thick hair really well. Personally, I love that the scent is subtle. Strong-smelling hair products give me a headache as I smell them all day long, but this one has just a light, pleasant fragrance that I really appreciate. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product. The fact that it's made in Japan, an island country product. - gl********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 20, 2019
Delightfully hydrating and refreshing! The scent is subtly pleasant. It doesn't feel slippery or sticky, and the fragrance is natural, not artificial. This product is really great... but I can't bring myself to buy Japanese items. Anyone know of a good alternative? Apply it before drying your hair for better styling results.
