•Why I bought it On days when I didn't wear makeup, I used to only cleanse once with a foam cleanser. But I heard that even if you just apply sunscreen, you should do a second cleanse... OMG! So I was planning to buy a gentle cleansing water. Uriage is famous, but it's on the pricier side... At first, I was using other brands' cleansing waters, but then I got the chance to buy Uriage cleansing water at a discount through a friend, so I decided to give it a try! •What I liked Compared to the cleansing water I was using before, this one seems much gentler and less irritating to my skin. Cleansing twice doesn't seem like it would be good for your skin, but since Uriage cleansing water is known for being so gentle, I don't worry about it irritating my skin. That's what I love about it! The price is definitely the biggest drawback. But since it's a product I use so frequently, buying a larger size seems reasonably priced. And since it's something that directly touches your skin, I think it's worth investing a bit more in it. My goal is to minimize skin irritation as much as possible, but with cleansing water, you inevitably have to use cotton pads, so some irritation is unavoidable. To combat this, I make sure to saturate the cotton pad with plenty of cleansing water to keep it as moist as possible when using it. - ey*****Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedAug 11, 2024
I received a sample of this somewhere and gave it a try. I haven't used many cleansing waters before, but among the ones I've tried, this was the best. It was surprisingly gentle on my skin while being incredibly effective at removing makeup. The scent was a bit unpleasant, and since it was a sample, the opening was a bit inconvenient to use. - rl**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 9, 2024
The cleansing effectiveness is great, and the scent is pleasant. I used it as part of a double cleansing routine, first with cleansing water and then with this cleansing foam. The wide opening of the container sometimes caused the product to spill out, which was a bit inconvenient. - dl*********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedMar 3, 2024
Thanks to its moisturizing effect, it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry and removes most makeup effectively The price isn't cheap, and the opening is quite large, causing the product to dispense too quickly - ta******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 15, 2023
Generous amount and doesn't sting much if it gets in your eyes. The scent isn't overpowering, so it's comfortable to use. At some point, my skin became super sensitive, and using this water-based remover seemed to cause redness and irritation, so I stopped using it. - no*****Dry SkinInner DrynessRednessSep 19, 2023
I decided to give this a try since it's supposed to be gentle and low-irritation. It's a water-like cleansing water. It does seem to be quite mild on the skin. I'm not even sure if it's actually cleansing my skin. For makeup removal, you definitely need to use a different cleanser. It just doesn't work for me... It's inconvenient because I have to use another product after this one. I only use this when I've applied just sunscreen, not for removing makeup. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 14, 2023
Gentle and non-irritating for sensitive skin. Its sunscreen-like texture is easy to remove. Can feel a bit drying in winter. The finish has a slightly sticky or tacky feeling. - sm*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMay 29, 2023
I received this product as a gratis gift when I bought the blue cica serum, so I used it without much expectation. But it turned out to be surprisingly good! The 500ml large size lasted a long time even with frequent use, so I didn't feel guilty about using it generously. Also, it didn't cause any tingling sensation when it got into my eyes, and I appreciated that it was fragrance-free. It felt like I was just wiping my face with water. While I needed a separate remover for heavy makeup, it seemed to effectively remove basic eyeshadow and lip products. The wide opening made it a bit tricky to control the amount dispensed. When tipping it over to pour some on a cotton pad, it would sometimes spill out too much if I wasn't careful. It's a product whose charm lies in its lack of frills, so I don't have many complaints. However, since I received it as a gift with the purchase of a serum for around $30, and Uriage often offers these as gratis gifts during promotions, I probably wouldn't buy it separately. - yo*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 22, 2023
I've repurchased and continue using this product. While it may not be exceptional at removing heavy makeup, it effectively cleanses sunscreen and foundation. It's gentle, so I haven't experienced any blemishes, which is why I keep buying it. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. Just keep in mind that it doesn't remove heavy makeup well, so you'll need to use a separate makeup remover for that. Pro tip: Put it in a foaming dispenser to save on cotton pads. Using it as a foam makes it even more hydrating! - ad**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresApr 20, 2023
I snagged this at a great price during the family sale. The product dispenses easily, which is super convenient. Unfortunately, it causes blemishes for me. I think it might be due to the citric acid ingredient. My acne is flaring up. Also, it feels slippery on the skin.
