This foundation is truly amazing. It applies incredibly smoothly even when just using your hands, leaving a wonderfully soft and velvety finish. It's powdery without any transfer, yet doesn't feel dry at all. It stays put without creasing or lifting, and doesn't fade away. My skin feels really comfortable, and it's not thick or suffocating. The lack of transfer is fantastic. The color range at Sephora is impressively diverse, making it easy to find the perfect match. I love that I can test and choose a shade that's identical to my skin tone! No more worrying about neck mismatches - it blends seamlessly and looks so natural. The semi-matte texture is powdery and soft, yet hydrating. It's perfect for winter when my skin gets dry and prone to patchiness. This foundation keeps my skin comfortable without lifting, while still giving a powdery finish. Surprisingly, it's as moisturizing as dewy foundations, which is impressive. Above all, I love how lightweight and comfortable it feels, with no transfer. There's no heavy or stuffy feeling on the skin - it's thin and light! Yet it still minimizes transfer. It even covers texture decently. The finish is beautifully smooth, with some pore-blurring power. Compared to NARS Soft Matte, which was great for its lightweight feel and matte finish but too drying and pore-emphasizing, this one feels like an improved version. It's much more hydrating and smooth, with better application and some pore coverage, resulting in a truly flawless, smooth finish! (The packaging is quite similar too, interestingly). While large pores still need primer, it adequately covers minor texture. The coverage is also quite good! It's not full coverage, but it's surprisingly high for how lightweight and thin it is. It perfectly evens out dullness, discoloration, redness around the nose, etc. in one layer and covers most blemishes unless they're very dark. Just one pump applied roughly with fingers takes care of everything - skin texture, color correction, decent coverage, comfortable wear - and the result is beautiful. At 38,000 won, the price is really reasonable too. It's as good as department store foundations that cost over 60,000 won, but much more affordable! The quality is on par, making it an incredible value. There are very few stores that carry it! It seems you can buy it online from the official website, but I'm not certain. If that's the case, accessibility is quite poor. With only two Sephora locations, testing is very difficult. I happened to come across a Sephora store by chance and was able to try and purchase it, but given its characteristics, it's hard to test, has limited accessibility, and the stores are always crowded, making it challenging to buy. Also, not really a flaw but just a characteristic - since it's hydrating and covers texture well, it's not completely matte but more of a semi-matte finish! I prefer very matte finishes and have oily skin, so I sometimes use powder with it. Still, it's fundamentally a matte type and feels powdery! As someone with oily skin, I might not be able to use it in the peak of summer. A minor point - while the bottle is nice glass, the cap is made of cheap, light, and somewhat flimsy plastic. It doesn't look too bad and doesn't affect usage, but if I had to nitpick for more cons... While it's best to test the shades yourself given the wide range, for reference, I have 22 shade skin with redness and a rosy undertone! I use the Light shade in Hanskin concealer. Here are other foundation shades I've used for comparison: Estée Lauder Double Wear in Bone, NARS Soft Matte in Vienna/Deauville, Clinique Beyond Perfecting in Linen, Fenty Beauty Foundation in 185, MAC Mineralize in 21C, Too Faced Born This Way in Porcelain, Bobbi Brown Stick Foundation in Cool Sand 2.25. Jung Saem Mool cushion in Light was a bit too pale for me. Fenty Beauty 185 matches well but has a slight pink undertone, so I thought something a bit more yellow would be a perfect match for my skin! This is what worked for my skin tone! I hope it helps as a reference. With Korean brands, when there are only two shades, one is often too light and the other darker than my natural skin. 21 is too pale and lifts, while 23 is darker than my neck, so I'm right in between at 22. While I'm primarily cool-toned, I currently have brown-dyed hair and significant redness, so I need to cover that with yellow undertones. That's why 080W Warm matched me best when applied! It's labeled as warm but doesn't lean too yellow. The photo I took appears more yellow and darker than in real life. The official website photos are likely more accurate than mine. It's easy to use and performs well, so you can apply it comfortably without any special techniques! Just applying it roughly with your fingers works great, and it also pairs well with brushes or sponges. I use Hanskin concealer, which matches well in both color and texture. I use the Hanskin concealer to cover very dark blemishes and acne hyperpigmentation, then apply this foundation over it with my fingers, and that's enough for a great finish.
