This seems to be the Shu Uemura oil that works best for me out of all I've tried. It has a water-like texture with a subtle, fresh scent. I was worried about pore care due to fine dust and warmer weather lately, but this product handles that aspect well, which I'm very satisfied with. It cleanses effectively, leaves no residue, and doesn't cause any particular blemishes. It allows for a fresher oil cleansing experience. The price. I bought a holiday edition set with small sizes to sample various products. While I was happy to find another line that suits me well besides my usual one, I think the price for individual full-size products is still a bit high. - yl*****Combination SkinAtopic SkinDec 1, 2019
Compared to other oils, Shu Uemura's is lighter. I've tried various Shu Uemura cleansing oils for nearly a decade, but I've ultimately returned to this pink one. The ingredients are disappointing. I've used this product for a long time, but only recently learned about its composition. Now I'm exploring other cleansing oils with better ingredients. - ci******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityNov 12, 2019
The texture is like a cleansing water with almost no oily feel. It's lightweight yet cleanses thoroughly. Perfect for those who are hesitant about using oils. Personally, I found it even lighter than the Atrue Pure Rebalancing Cleansing Oil. The price is quite steep. With so many great cleansing oils flooding the market, I probably won't purchase this one. Despite the high price, the oil content is surprisingly low. Jojoba oil is listed as an ingredient, but its concentration is less than 1%, which is disappointing. Make sure to emulsify thoroughly for best results. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 9, 2019
Unbeatable for blackhead removal and cleansing. The scent is pleasant and the emulsification process is easy. The lightweight texture leaves a nice finish after rinsing. The price is the only real downside. To be honest, if you primarily use cleansing oils, you might want to avoid trying Shu Uemura. Once you experience its performance, it's hard to find a better oil. Finding a substitute is so difficult that it might be better not to start using it at all... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 3, 2019
I use cleansing oil products daily, but I dislike heavy textures. This product is great because it's lightweight despite being an oil! Even on days when I use a bit more, it doesn't feel heavy. My skin is usually sensitive to oils, but this product doesn't cause any blemishes, so I've been using it consistently. When I massage it in, I can feel the sebum dissolving under my fingers, and I can even see it in the mirror... It's impressive how it visibly melts away makeup, dirt, and impurities from my skin, so I can vouch for its cleansing effectiveness! It rinses off cleanly with water, and after washing, my skin doesn't feel dry or like there's any residue left behind, which I love. I didn't really find any major drawbacks. If I had to mention something, it would be the price... but since oil cleansers last a long time, it's not a significant issue. In the morning, I use a small amount all over my face, focusing especially on the nose area. I've noticed that overnight, sebum production is particularly high in my T-zone. When massaging with the oil, I don't exceed 40 seconds to 1 minute. After massaging, I emulsify with warm water and then rinse with plain water! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 2, 2019
For combination skin, it's excellent at removing dead skin cells and clearing out pores. It's my favorite among all Shu Uemura oils. I can't think of any downsides except for the high price. It's more affordable if you buy it at duty-free shops. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 1, 2019
It gently and thoroughly melts away makeup! I was surprised to find a cleansing oil this mild and non-irritating to the skin - it's a first for me. When it came to removing point makeup, it didn't even properly dissolve mascara. My eyes stung so much. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 18, 2019
It feels like it removes makeup cleanly without any irritation. This is a product I can consistently use without causing any blemishes. The price is wickedly high! Apart from the devilish price tag, I can't find any other downsides. - fl*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 13, 2019
This is such a refreshing cleansing oil! I used to avoid cleansing oils because I disliked the sticky feeling, but this one has an essence-like, water-like consistency that flows smoothly. It feels more like a light oil, which seems perfect for combination dehydrated skin. Due to its lightweight nature, it requires less effort to apply compared to thicker cleansing oils, making it easy to massage into the skin. Sometimes, when I roll it over my blackheads, they pop out one by one. It's quite satisfying! I think this cleansing oil's texture would suit all skin types. I highly, highly recommend it. I used to only use cleansing water because oils felt heavy, but I really like this one. If I were to use a cleansing oil, I'd probably stick to just this one. The oil formulation is truly praiseworthy. It cleanses well and emulsifies nicely too. There are no downsides. I thought cleansing oils really didn't suit me, but this product completely erased that notion. If you massage it over your nose area, it helps remove blackheads effectively. While it may not remove them all at once, I noticed several coming out with each use. - ep*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 27, 2019
The Shu Uemura cleansing oil is a champion in cleansing effectiveness and does wonders for calming my oily-skinned husband's complexion. Personally, I found the green tea and pink versions to have the most suitable texture for washing. The white and purple ones feel a bit heavier. As for its cleansing capabilities, it's truly faultless. If you're on the fence about purchasing, it's definitely a product worth trying at least once. It's expensive. If it weren't for the price, I'd keep using it. Moreover, these days there are many affordable cleansers that do a decent job, so I probably won't be using this for a while.
