I bought this product thinking it would help remove the yellow tones before dyeing my hair pink. After applying it, I got a bit scared as my hair seemed to darken too much, so I washed it off about ten minutes early. Even with the shorter time, it still managed to reduce some of the yellow tones. For reference, my hair had been bleached twice before using this! The results weren't as dramatic as the product photos suggest. I suspect that even if I had left it on for the full recommended time, it wouldn't have completely eliminated the yellow tones. It seems to effectively tone down the brassiness in heavily bleached hair, noticeably reducing yellow undertones The recommended product quantities for different hair lengths provided in the enclosed instructions don't seem to be very accurate

I appreciated how easy it was to use, making it simple to apply on my own. For hair that's been bleached twice, it doesn't completely eliminate the brassiness. Don't set your expectations too high for this product. Also, the formula was quite harsh on my scalp. I've used other brands with thick bleaching agents without any discomfort, but this one stung so badly it was almost unbearable. It made me wonder if it was even a proper toning product. Even after closing the lid tightly and gently swirling it in circles, the product still leaks. It's great that it slightly tones down the yellow tinge that came up without additional bleaching, and can be resolved with just coloring It only provides a slight tone correction, and since it's not bleach, there's no dramatic effect. I loved how it completely removed the yellow tones from my hair, even without additional bleaching after the dye had faded. To achieve that snow-white look from the ads, you'd probably need some serious bleaching.
