After using only foundation, I noticed my skin was getting too dry under the mask, so I switched to this. First of all, it's really hydrating! The formula is so full of moisture that you can clearly see water droplets when you rub it in. It applies smoothly like an emulsion, and most importantly, because it's so hydrating, my skin feels comfortable! Although I'm a bit disappointed looking at the ingredients, when I used it, I didn't experience any major blemishes or skin discomfort or tingling. As I mentioned above, I'm a bit disappointed that there are quite a few potentially harmful ingredients. And inevitably, since it's a BB cream, there's no escaping the grayish cast. After some time, my face would look ashy, which was a bit shocking at times. That's why I found it better to use only a very small amount! - wa********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 13, 2021
The hydration is excellent. As a result, it doesn't leave your skin feeling cakey when applied. It's also not too oily. The sun protection factor isn't high enough to use this product alone. You'll need to include a sunscreen as well. (Not recommended for those with oily skin, as it might feel heavy and uncomfortable.) - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 27, 2020
1. True to its 'Water Drop' name, this unique product forms tiny droplets as you apply it. It's my go-to base for winter, perfect for my dry skin. 2. The absorption is simply outstanding. I highly recommend that those with dry skin give this a try at least once. 1. The shade is disappointingly dark. It's about a shade 23, which feels a bit too dark for my skin tone. 2. While it prioritizes hydration, it falls short in coverage and staying power. If you're really craving a deeply hydrating product, I'd recommend this. Otherwise, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. - dl********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 3, 2020
Coverage: There are some acne scars, but they are not completely covered, but most blemishes are hidden. Texture: It applies thinly and can be layered without any issues. With other BB creams, I always had to wipe and reapply, but with this one, there is hardly any caking even when layered. Lasting Power: This is the BB cream with the best lasting power I've tried so far. Other BB creams would start to get flaky and dry as soon as I went out in the winter, but this one stayed moisturized for quite a long time thanks to the hydration. This is the main reason I use this product! Personally, everything is good, but the coverage is a bit lacking compared to other BB creams. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedApr 14, 2019
I'm already on my 4th bottle. It's moisturizing but not greasy, which I like. The coverage is a bit light. It seems they no longer sell it at the drugstore, which is a shame. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 1, 2018
It's moisturizing and perfect for those lazy makeup days - just one and you're done!👍 As someone with dry skin, this is the only BB cream I've finished a whole tube of! The BRTC is really good, but the ingredients are just terrible.. If the ingredients get improved, I'll definitely repurchase, but it's a shame 😢 - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 28, 2018
I received it from an acquaintance and have been using it for about a year. The natural coverage is good and it's not too bright, which I like. My skin tone is around 22. Especially, when I apply the Innisfree blue bottle eye cream all over my face, it's a perfect match. However, this product has two different versions with different packaging. I've used the other version, and both versions show up in the Hwahae Trial Reviewer. The ingredients also seem to be slightly different. The other version has fewer harmful ingredients. I first used the other version and recently purchased this product. I'll try them out and see how different they are. The response and handling from the official homepage is extremely slow. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 27, 2017
Was this product from 3 years ago..? It was available at Watson's. Back then, I really tested over 10 different BB creams, wanting to buy a moisturizing one, and this one was incredibly hydrating, so I purchased it. I've been using my 6th one for the past 3 years, and I've also tried the Jasmine BB cream. I have a dry and sensitive skin type that's prone to breakouts. The coverage isn't particularly great, but I've tried BB creams and foundations that provide full coverage, and I really dislike the thick, smothering feeling where it feels like something is just covering up my skin. So even though the coverage is a bit less, I use a concealer and apply this hydrating BB cream. (This is just my personal preference). The water-based BB creams often use oil to create a dewy look, but this one is truly moisturizing, so it looks very natural! If you build a good skincare base, it looks beautifully dewy and hydrating. I'm a warm-toned 21-22 shade, and it matched me nicely. In the summer, I mix it with a slightly darker BB cream to make it work. The best part is that it breaks down beautifully! The downside is that when I'm rushed in the morning and do my skincare routine hastily, or when I've been up all night studying during exam periods and my skin is in poor condition, it doesn't look as nice and breaks down more noticeably. And there was one day when I had an important event and ended up reapplying the makeup 3-4 times within 4 hours, and when you layer it on like that, it starts to look a bit grey... (But I think that would happen with any BB cream if you apply that much.) As I mentioned above, make sure to have a solid skincare routine! I don't use lotions or creams, but I do make sure to thoroughly apply toners, essences, and face mists. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 18, 2017
Even a small amount is sufficient to cover my not-so-small face. While the BB cream itself appears dull in color, the moment it is applied to the face, a bright and moisturizing coverage emerges, creating a refreshing effect. It provides a sense of hydration and maintains a dewy finish. There is hardly any transfer or residue on the hands. After reviewing the Hwahae Trial Reviewer ingredients, it seems a bit concerning... That's why I'm a little hesitant to repurchase it. A little goes a long way, even less than a pea-sized amount is sufficient. Be mindful of the application amount. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 7, 2017
It's really moisturizing. The texture feels like it's soaked in water. When I spread it with my hands, the moisturizing effect is most noticeable. After lightly applying it to my face with my hands, I patted it with a puff - it's really moisturizing. The lasting power is also decent, and the adherence is quite good. I'd recommend this to those with dry skin. The downside is that since the texture is so moisturizing, the coverage isn't great. It applies naturally, but it doesn't have a powdery finish, so there is a bit of transfer. I think this would be good for those with very dry skin or during the dry winter season.
