Perfect for winter use. It's incredibly rich and after applying, your hands don't easily dry out even after washing once. Great for office workers or those who frequently wash their hands in winter. Ideal for extremely dry skin, and I recommend using a small amount. The scent is lovely too, with banana notes blending nicely with the waxy fragrance. It feels a bit heavy for use in midsummer. Unfortunately, if it's left for a long time, the wax layer separates, making the color turn a bit white and yellow. I apply small amounts multiple times. The formula is also suitable for cuticles, so I apply it generously there. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 13, 2018
I usually like Burt's Bees, but I absolutely can't recommend this product. It has no redeeming qualities. This is the first hand cream that's made me feel uncomfortable after applying it. I typically use products until they're finished, but this one is simply unusable. The scent is off-putting, it doesn't absorb well, and it leaves a greasy residue. It's almost embarrassing to use in public... - ws*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresJan 5, 2017
While there were many negative reviews about the scent, I actually enjoyed it (I only applied it at night because of its distinctive creaminess). When I would apply it before bed and lie down, the sweet banana fragrance would lift my mood. The pretty packaging also contributed to that feeling. In the morning, my hands felt soft and nice. There seem to be quite a few harmful ingredients, so I won't be repurchasing. That's why I've deducted one star. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 8, 2016
It's really thick and creamy. My hands are dry and very dry, and I often have this problem. I recommend it to those who have the same issue. The fragrance is polarizing, and while it does absorb to some degree, it makes the skin very waxy and thick, so it doesn't absorb quickly. The price is also quite high. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinOct 26, 2016
The moisturizing power is really great. I always use it in the fall and winter seasons. Although it's a hand cream, I apply it more to my feet, and it softens my cracked heels. The scent, spreadability, and stickiness - these 3 things are really disappointing. It's a wax-type, so that's probably why. But I'd still recommend applying it before bed. If you apply it generously to your heels and wrap them, you'll be amazed by the results the next day! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJul 11, 2016
Before going to bed, applying it and then sleeping results in very soft and moisturized hands the next day. The amount is also generous, so I apply it to my feet and other dry areas. The bottle is too heavy to carry around and apply on the go. The signature Burt's Bees scent may be divisive, with some liking it and others not. I recommend applying it before bedtime rather than during daily activities. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 23, 2016
The moisturizing effect is amazing! It lasts a long time and the compact size is convenient to carry around without any burden. It seems to be helpful for those with extremely dry skin. I agree with the comment about it feeling waxy. The application is not very smooth. I guess that's just the nature of this style of product. I wish the fragrance was a bit more subtle! - tt***Combination SkinMar 23, 2016
The wax-type formula maintains moisture for a long time, especially in extremely dry winters. The strong scent is unpleasant, and it stings the eyes even when applied to the feet. First of all, the smell is just too pungent. It's more accurate to describe it as a banana peel smell. When you touch the top or bottom part, it has a rancid odor. Those with a sensitive stomach should avoid this! I get scolded every time I use this. The pungent smell and thick texture make me hesitant to apply it to my heels. Even when I do, it causes dizziness and stinging in my eyes. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinJan 4, 2016
It doesn't feel very irritating when applied even with rough hands~~ It seems to have poor spreadability~ It feels sticky and like it's sitting on top of the skin.. The scent is also not my style - at*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJan 3, 2016
I used it with anticipation because I felt reassured by the mild ingredients. The texture seems stiff like wax when applied, but it becomes oily when rubbed. It doesn't feel very moisturizing or lightweight.
