1. Powerful hydration 2. Locks in skin moisture 3. Smooth application Despite its high-performance and nourishing properties, it absorbs very poorly. This product's strength lies in its powerful hydration, but unfortunately, it doesn't absorb well. Although it looks transparent and seems like it would glide on easily, no matter how much you massage it in, it doesn't seem to penetrate the skin deeply. If you apply it at night, you'll wake up to find it still sitting on your skin's surface, feeling slippery when you rinse with water. That's really the only drawback of this product! However! I found a way to use it that works great. First, after cleansing, apply your skincare routine thoroughly while your skin is still slightly damp. Then, for the last step, slather on your moisturizer, pat it in well, and before that hydration disappears, apply this Activate Cream evenly, almost like you're coating your skin. Then!! When you wake up and rinse with water, the Activate Cream on the surface washes away, revealing the moisture from your night cream that's been preserved all night! It's also useful when applying makeup. It's especially good for preventing your skin makeup from drying out and flaking off in the harsh winter winds. No matter how much time I spend on my skincare routine and carefully applying my makeup base, if I'm out in the cold winter air for too long, all the moisture in my skin evaporates. My skin becomes as dry and cracked as a winter tree, and when I get home and look in the mirror, foundation is just caked in my pores - it's really unsightly! So, when it's windy and cold in winter, or when my skin feels particularly dry, I always apply a thin layer of this cream before my skin makeup. This helps my makeup last longer, even in harsh winds, by preventing moisture loss from my skin. I especially use this cream as the final step in my skincare routine before applying Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation. Just make sure to really pat in the foundation to increase adherence. Anyway! Because this cream doesn't absorb well on its own, I use it as a moisture-locking cream. I usually buy 1-2 jars every year from late autumn to early summer. Try using it this way! My skin was so dry, but after applying this, the tightness decreased and my wrinkles became less noticeable! If you have oily or super sensitive skin, this might not be for you. While it does make your skin feel soft after application, it's a bit rich, so I wouldn't recommend using it during the day. Apply a small amount to your face before makeup, then use a compact powder. The absorption and application are both excellent, but what's truly remarkable is how it genuinely solves dryness. It's my holy grail for banishing real, deep dryness. The price is quite steep, so unless it's on sale, it's a bit hard on the wallet. I went to LaLa Bla to buy a lightweight moisturizer for summer, and bought this one on their recommendation. With the heat, I've been washing my face and showering more often, which was causing deep dryness. Rich creams felt too heavy and made me sweat, so I'd end up wiping them off. This moisturizer, however, is light yet contains avocado oil capsules. Surprisingly, despite the oil, it hydrates without feeling greasy. I mostly used it as an evening night cream. It's moisturizing but doesn't make my hair stick to my face, which is great! When it's on sale, it's quite affordable, but at full price, it feels a bit expensive. The effects are good, though! It keeps my skin hydrated, which is great. You might think constant moisture would feel heavy, but it absorbs quickly into the skin. I love it so much I've bought several! It's fantastic! I fell in love with this cream after trying a sample from Watson's that they raved about. I applied it that evening, and it didn't stick to my pillow or hair, yet kept my skin hydrated until morning! I gave samples to my sisters to try, and one of them saw an 80% reduction in the deep vertical wrinkles and dark circles between her eyes and nose. It's amazing! My sister's dermatologist visits only provided temporary relief, but this cream actually improved her wrinkles and brightened her skin. My older sister with extremely dry skin tried the sample and became a devoted fan - it's her holy grail product now! Even the best products lose their effectiveness if used continuously. That's why it works wonders when you take a break for a few months and then start using it again. My sisters tried other products but always come back to this one. The only downside is that it's so expensive! Please do more buy-one-get-one-free promotions! When I first bought it at Watson's, they gave a 30% discount and tons of samples - the employee must have had some pull. I loved that! I gave samples to everyone around me because it was so good, and it became their holy grail product too. I enjoy sharing good things with others because it feels wasteful to keep them to myself! Just yesterday, my sister was complaining that there wasn't a buy-one-get-one-free offer.

But with this, my skin feels both hydrated and comfortable. It's a must-have for those with dry skin. I used to find mixing oil and cream tedious, but this is literally an oil-cream in one! It works hard to keep my skin feeling great. The price is quite steep... And the container is too large, which isn't very hygienic. I wish they would improve the packaging. Apply when skin feels dry
