Pros
Clinique was not a brand that I often used or particularly liked. However, when I accidentally tried a sample that my friend brought, I fell in love with it and immediately purchased it. The part that made me fall in love was the exfoliation. At first, when I used this product, there was only a little bit of lather and it felt slippery even after washing, which really surprised me. But the important thing is that the next morning, my skin felt unbelievably soft!! It was a whole new world. So I thought this might be a peeling gel, but no matter how I looked at it, it was clearly labeled as a facial soap, which surprised me. This part is something only those who used it for the first time can experience. Once you purchase and start using the product, you can't really experience that new world again. It just feels like a regular foam cleanser that doesn't clean very well. But even if you stop using it and then start again, you can still feel a bit of that new world experience. Another good point is that I really like the pump. I use about 0.5 pumps each time, and the amount that comes out through the pump is just right, so the product lasts me a very long time!! And it has 4 key ingredients marked on it, which I felt was gentle. Recently I tried a new foam cleanser and my face got irritated, so I feel this one is quite gentle. And while Clinique is known for being good for oily skin, this one didn't leave any dryness at all, so it also worked well for my dry skin.
Cons
The cleansing feeling is a bit unsatisfactory. You'll be really surprised at first. And the transparent gel-like texture is different from regular foam cleansers, so it takes some getting used to as well. The lather doesn't come out a lot, even though it does lather up when you rub it. It's kind of ambiguous. And the cleansing power doesn't seem to be that great either. And the reason I gave it 3 stars is that I used this product for a year, but throughout that time, I really felt the urge to try other foam cleansers as well. So I think using this along with other cleansers allows you to appreciate its value without getting tired of it. That's how I feel about it.
Tip
I would recommend using this product alternately with another cleanser with better cleansing power, rather than using this one alone. And while the name says it's a soap, and it does have a fairly strong daily fragrance, I think it would be better to use it as more of a treatment product. Once you experience that incredible softness it gives your skin, you'll understand what I mean. It's a whole new world!

Pros
I have sensitive dry skin with atopic dermatitis. When I press the pump, a slightly watery gel comes out. It's mild enough to use in the morning without any burden, and it seems to gently exfoliate just the right amount.
Cons
It's not the type that produces a rich lather, so there are times when it feels a bit stuffy. It's also not particularly fragrant, but I've gotten used to it, and now fragranced cosmetics feel burdensome to me. Since it's not particularly strong in cleansing power, those who enjoy a squeaky-clean feeling may be disappointed.

I used to struggle with skin troubles, but I found a mildly acidic cleanser with good ingredients and purchased it. Now I feel anxious if I don't use this product to cleanse my face. It's so gentle, mild, and the lather is amazing!!! When I cleanse with it, I feel a slight cooling sensation, and it feels like my pores are being cleaned. The product is said to gently dissolve dead skin cells. I use it with an electric cleansing brush, and I highly recommend it!!!! My skin feels so moisturized after cleansing.
Cons
There's nothing I'm particularly dissatisfied with, as the product suits me very well.

The main strength seems to be that it is mild and gentle. The scent is similar to the one used for babies, and it has helped to significantly calm my dry, flaky skin.

It's great! This is a cleansing product that exfoliates the skin and the difference is really noticeable when I use this product for cleansing and then do my skincare routine, compared to using other cleansers. My skin texture is definitely more refined and clean! I highly recommend this!

Pros
As someone with a complex and troublesome skin, I used to think that cleansers should be used to thoroughly wash away the dirt. But after trying this product, my preconceptions have changed. At first, I bought a different product from Clinique and used the sample, but after using this mildly acidic product with gentle exfoliating ingredients for about 2 weeks, morning and night, I realized its true value only when I stopped using it for a few days as the sample ran out. That's why I immediately purchased the full-size product. It gently removes dead skin cells daily, and being mildly acidic, it's great for balancing my skin. And even in this dry weather lately, my face doesn't feel tight after cleansing, which I love.
Cons
The lather may not be as rich at first, which can be surprising when you start using it, but you'll get used to it quickly.
Tip

It's more hygienic than bar soap and allows for easy dosage control. It's a must-have item for large events!
Cons
The downside is that it starts to smell strange after a while. Is it the smell of limescale? That's probably because there are no preservatives in it.

Pros
I have not yet found a better cleanser than this. I'm currently using the SK-II Gentle Cleanser and plan to repurchase the Mild Soap once I finish it (the Gentle one is good too). It has a bit of a dishwashing detergent-like scent, but personally I like that the Clinique products don't have an overly artificial fragrance and just have a natural ingredient scent. It's truly mild, leaving no irritation or tightness after cleansing. I've been using it for 7 years now.
Cons
If I had to point out a downside, it would be that I do a double cleanse - first with a cleansing oil and lukewarm water, then a second cleanse with the mild soap. (I've been doing this for years, but I can't quite recall the exact reason why, other than wanting a more thorough cleansing.)
