As someone who styles their hair daily for work, I go through about one bottle a month. I've tried cheaper aerosol and liquid sprays, but this one's incredible hold really stands out.
ConsApart from its hold power, everything else is disappointing. The biggest issue is the spray mechanism. Even though I cleaned the nozzle after each use, it still clogged. I had to tilt it sideways every time, making a mess on my hands. One day, my neck and sides started itching. When I looked in the mirror, I nearly fainted - there were red blotches everywhere, which later turned into hives. I rushed to the dermatologist who confirmed it was due to the spray. They advised me to stop using it immediately, so I switched to a different product.
TipIf you're set on using a spray, investing in a refillable bottle is a must. I've often wished they'd just sell refills instead of new bottles each time.

Being a water-based formula, it's perfect for packing on overseas trips without any hassle. It's great for managing hair with short curls! Plus, it's budget-friendly!
ConsThe spray doesn't distribute evenly, instead it comes out in a thin stream with a 'psst' sound. I wish the spray would disperse more widely.

It sets incredibly firmly. 2. In a rush? You can even apply it quickly to your palms without wax and still achieve a decent style.
Cons1. Sets so firmly it's almost like applying gel if you use too much. 2. Be gentle when washing your hair or you might experience some hair loss. 3. The spray mechanism is subpar. I bought it at Olive Young, but I'm not sure if it's just the one I got - it's more like a mister than a spray. Sometimes it squirts out droplets that run down your forehead...
TipWon't repurchase

Compared to Paul Mitchell, this feels like it has about three times the staying power. The ingredients seem pretty good too.
ConsThe spray nozzle is truly awful. As you use it, the product tends to harden, making it really difficult to press down.

Other products often trigger breakouts for me. Plus, no matter how much I spray, there's no white residue or clumping (if you overspray, it just feels like a coating). I wouldn't have bought it if it left a white powder. (Most liquid-type products, including this one, offer good hold and cleansing effectiveness)
ConsThe spray nozzle clumps when dispensing, so I transferred it to a bottle with a more even spray distribution. This way, it looks like you haven't sprayed anything, but the hold lasts long. I deducted points because the spray power wasn't my style. It's great for short hair, but as I have long hair, it wasn't ideal for overall hold.
TipTip for fine hair hold & buying sprays: To check for white residue, spray the tester on your hair, let it dry, then rub it. Products that leave white powder will flake off like dandruff on dry days or when you lie down and get up. For fine, limp hair volume and hold: These types of sprays tend to collapse easily. Transfer to a fine mist bottle and spray from a distance with gentle air pressure for quick setting. Alternatively, use a light gas spray sparingly (avoid strong gas sprays as they're harder to wash out - a light application is sufficient).
