I absolutely loved everything about this product - the scent, price, staying power, and glow it gave me. The only downside is that it's been discontinued... Any chance it could make a comeback? - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinNov 20, 2019
The hold is absolutely fantastic! It even tames all those pesky flyaways. The cleansing effectiveness is so poor that I have to shampoo twice. Also, my hair has become noticeably thinner. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinOct 27, 2019
Strong setting power, affordable price (frequent sales), compact size for easy portability Large particles prone to caking, cheap chemical scent Good value for money, but consider investing a bit more for a better option - ha****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 7, 2019
The staying power is about 4 hours, but it doesn't last as long when you sweat. It's matte and can clump if applied in one spot, so it's best to spray it lightly two or three times all over your hair. It's great for taming those few flyaways with your hands! Personally, I'm not a fan of the scent, and it feels sticky when it touches the skin. Even after washing your hands, you can still feel some residue. Be careful not to use too much, or your hair might look greasy. I recommend using it to style and set your whole head. If you want to style slightly damp hair, it works well when applied to hair that's not completely dry. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMar 21, 2019
It's just a typical spray. I'd say it's pretty average. The scent isn't particularly appealing. Even though I'll be wearing perfume anyway, it would be nice if this had a more pleasant fragrance. - pc*****Dry SkinRecommendedJan 9, 2019
Being a water spray, it definitely had good staying power. Personally, I prefer unscented products, but this one had a bit of fragrance. It seems like a safe choice that's easily available at Olive Young. Since it's a water spray, it tends to run a bit as you use it, and it can become sticky as it dries, which is a bit disappointing. However, the product itself was decent. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinNov 19, 2018
The staying power is excellent. It provides great support all day long. The liquid hardens in the nozzle, making it difficult to spray. The scent is so strong that you need to run away after applying it. It's disappointing that the drawbacks of the liquid spray haven't been addressed. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 31, 2018
When sprayed on specific areas, it had extremely strong hold and setting power. As mentioned above, it worked well when sprayed on specific areas, but it might not suit those with slightly longer hair. The scent wasn't my style either. If sprayed incorrectly, it felt like it created an extra layer(?) on the hair, which I didn't like, and it seemed potentially harmful to the scalp. The spray was inconsistent - sometimes it came out clumped, other times it sprayed well. I tried spraying it in the air 1-2 times before using it on my hair, but it didn't disperse well in the air and easily stuck to objects. The spray distribution is not uniform. Excellent setting power only. Otherwise, not great. Used it a few times for its cheap price, then tossed it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 29, 2018
The staying power is truly excellent. The cleansing effectiveness is also quite satisfactory. The scent is overpowering and unpleasant. I'm concerned it might not be very good for the body. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 24, 2018
Price: I bought this after hearing that my usual Mise-en-Scene hairspray was discontinued. I was pleased to find that it's one of the more affordable hairsprays available on the market! Spray Type: I appreciated that it's not an aerosol spray. Aerosol sprays often have strong scents and that distinctive gas smell that can make it hard to breathe. That's why I opted for this water-based spray. Scent: I expected this to have a mild fragrance, but it turned out to be quite strong! Amount Control: It's definitely more challenging to control the amount compared to aerosol sprays. Being a water-based spray, sometimes the product drips from the nozzle, making it sticky. Because it's hard to control the amount, it can make your hair stiff, which is a bit inconvenient. It also tends to spray all over your face. Hold: The Mise-en-Scene hairspray I used before had a nice hold that wasn't too unnatural, but this one doesn't have great hold. So I'm not sure about repurchasing it!
