It works well for blemishes that come up like mosquito bites without pus. But anyway, these will disappear on their own after half a day..

I mainly used it for cystic acne, but it had absolutely no effect. Before going to bed at night, apply it to the acne-prone areas almost like you're layering it on, and after sleeping, it seems that even large pimples subside within 2-3 days!! It takes a bit of time, but it's worth it.

When a big, red pimple appears, applying it over the pimple like a protective layer makes the redness calm down by the next day. Although the amount is a bit small compared to the price, buying one during duty-free shopping is enough to last until the next overseas trip. Pros
This is a product I've repurchased about three times. I don't usually reach for it, but when my acne is a bit out of control, I use it as a spot treatment. As the name suggests, it's really effective on acne!! If you use it consistently for about 3 days, it can even help calm down inflamed pimples. My skin is quite sensitive, so even when I use it as a spot treatment and it helps reduce the pimple, I still end up with some scarring. But this product helps fade those marks pretty quickly, to the point where they're covered up when I apply makeup.
Cons
Since it's a spot treatment, if you dab it on, the area can harden over time and eventually peel off. But using it at night and not touching it means it won't get smeared anywhere, which could be a plus. If you apply it on fine lines or wrinkles, it tends to flake off quickly, so you have to reapply it, which is a hassle... I've even seen La Roche-Posay advertising that the more you reapply it, the more effective it is - go figure! Believe it or not, when my acne is at its worst, I don't care how expensive it is, I just want the pimples gone, so I slather this on liberally. It's in the $10 range, and the quantity is small, but since I don't use it every day, I think it's a reasonable price.
Tip
If you just apply a thin layer, the effects are quite minimal. The best way is to really pack it on, almost like you're creating a little mound on the troubled spot, and let it harden. Mixing this with some centella powder and tea tree oil makes for an even more effective spot treatment!
