Pros
Since I've used and trusted the La Roche-Posay Cicabaume brand, I decided to test out the Epionce AI Serum a little after purchasing the Cicabaume from Olive Young. I was looking for a spot treatment cream, and this essence felt much lighter than other creams. The scent was also decent (when wearing a mask), so I purchased it from the website. The good point is that although I haven't used it for a long time yet, the application is very smooth and leaves my skin feeling very moisturized!
Cons
Even though I have sensitive skin, this essence did not cause any breakouts in the spot areas I used it on. However, it's disappointing that I didn't see any effects. It didn't get worse, but it didn't get better either. The scent was also too strong when I actually smelled it.
Tip
I think I'll have to use the Cicabaume by spreading it thinly and widely over the entire spot area.

Pros
My previously clear skin suddenly started breaking out with small pimples, so I bought it during the Olive Young sale period for around 15,000 won. It applies smoothly without any stickiness and has good absorption!! At 15ml, it's not at all more expensive than domestic spot treatment products, and it's a great value. But this is only during promotional events~ Smaller blemishes tend to calm down in about 3 days, and it's effective even for minor breakouts. Plus, it rarely causes any adverse skin reactions~
Cons
But you shouldn't be too reliant on it!! It does have some effect on newly emerging blemishes, but it doesn't seem to work as well on stubborn, long-standing breakouts.
Tip
It's better to dab it directly on the blemish spots rather than rubbing it in, and then leave it on overnight!

I tend to have some acne and blackheads. While it's not severe, I do have a fair amount. So I had high hopes for the La Roche-Posay a.i. and purchased it. At first, it seemed effective when I started using it, but from the next day on, I felt that the acne was getting worse, especially in the areas I applied it. Since the affected areas were spreading as I applied it, acne started appearing in those areas as well. Given the price, I would recommend thoroughly testing it before purchasing.
