  Pros

  I initially thought the herbal scent might be pleasant, but as I continued using it, I grew to dislike the fragrance. This ultimately led me to stop using the product.

  Cons

  I dislike the scent, and it makes my hair excessively oily. I don't feel any improvement in hair damage at all. Instead, my hair becomes limp and heavy. I only used it about three or four times before discarding it in almost new condition. What a waste!

  Tip

  Apply it before your hair is completely dry. If you apply it after your hair has dried, it tends to make your hair even more limp and heavy.

  Pros

  This is my third bottle of this product! I first bought it when a friend recommended it as my introduction to Aveda. All the friends who recommended it to me are still using it too. Despite being an oil, it's not sticky at all. Just two or three drops are enough to calm my hair. The bottle is surprisingly generous - it lasts about a year.

  Cons

  The price of Aveda products is a bit disappointing. If only it were a little cheaper... Also, if you think your hair is too dry and apply too much, it can make your hair a bit greasy.

  Tip

  It works even better when used together with the Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair product.

  Pros

  It truly resolves dryness. It's not just a feeling of 'well, of course, it's an oil,' but the longer you use it, the more you notice a reduction in dryness. The formula absorbs well, so initially it was tricky to control the amount, but a little goes a long way. Just 2-3 drops are sufficient!

  Cons

  Since it's not a scalp product, be careful when using it close to the scalp or if you apply too much due to poor amount control. It can literally make your hair greasy, so be cautious...

  Even applying it just to the ends improves split ends. The scent is lovely too. With consistent use, it really enhances your hair texture.

  Cons

  You need to apply it carefully and evenly. If you put it on the roots, it can make your hair look greasy.

  Try adding a few drops when rinsing your hair for extra benefits.
