The main drawback of cleansing balm types is the hygiene issue. Having to scoop it out with your fingers makes it somewhat vulnerable to contamination.

As someone with sensitive, redness-prone dry skin that's easily irritated by cleansers, I found this product gentle enough to use without any issues. It didn't cause any blemishes, and I could cleanse with just this product alone without needing a second step. It removes makeup cleanly without leaving any residue. Even though I have dry skin and usually can't stand the slippery feeling of cleansing oils (which often leads me to double or triple cleanse), this one leaves me feeling refreshed after just one use.

After using this product, double cleansing with a foaming cleanser after rinsing with warm water leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed.

I've been using this product for 2 years straight without any major complaints. If I had to nitpick, having a spatula included would make it even easier to use.

It removes light, daily makeup well.
However, for mascara that was used with a fixative or applied thickly, it did not completely cleanse it.
It works well for removing foundation, eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara, so I use it as a primary cleansing step.
But it doesn't seem to be as effective for whitehead or blackhead cleansing.

- Usage Experience
When applied to the face, it transforms into a cleansing oil-like product, making it easy to spread and emulsify.
There was no irritation at all, and it gave an impression of being a fairly average product, neither particularly remarkable nor disappointing.

Since it's a balm-type product, it can be tricky to dispense. There's no spatula included, so you have to use your fingers to scoop it out. When it comes into contact with water, the texture transforms into a sorbet-like consistency, so you have to wash your hands and dry them with a towel before handling the product again.

I bought it after much deliberation, and the time spent agonizing over the decision was worth it. 
After cleansing, my skin felt too tight, and my blackheads were really severe, but using this product made the blackheads disappear completely. Of course, they didn't vanish right away, but after consistent use, the effects are no joke - just one jar is enough to see the results. I had heard that the balm-type formula is great for hydration, and it didn't leave my skin feeling dry or dehydrated at all after cleansing. The glow on the T-zone area (without excess oil) is also quite impressive.

Unlike regular oils or creams, it's difficult to control the amount, and it's sad that dust gets on my hands or other things when I scoop it out.
