  I tried this as part of The Hwahae Testers, and here's my honest review! I really liked how sturdy the packaging is. I was excited to see it contains both AHA and BHA for dead skin cell removal, and it worked well for me! I only knew TheSaem for their famous concealers, but now I realize their exfoliators are pretty good too! After using the product, my face didn't turn too red, and I noticed my complexion looked clearer! I'm thinking of buying another one for my mom!

  Cons

  It has a system where dead skin cells are supposed to roll off like dirt, but I couldn't tell if it was actually my skin's dead cells or if the product was just balling up as I rolled it on. Still, the exfoliating effect is good!

  Tip

  Try using it in the shower! After washing your hair, brushing your teeth, applying hair treatment, and washing your face, gently pat your face with a towel. Then use this product to exfoliate. I found it wasn't irritating when used this way!

  ✨Review after winning The Hwahae Testers selection✨ This product doesn't contain granules, so it doesn't hurt when massaging it in. As someone with a lot of dead skin cells, I usually need to exfoliate 2-3 times a week, but this wasn't irritating at all. I was pleasantly surprised by the generous size of the product. It felt like it was clearing up some of my blackheads and whiteheads. Even when applied over blemishes, it didn't cause any stinging sensation. I loved how gentle it felt on my skin without any tingling.

  Cons

  While it wasn't irritating or sensitizing, after about 7 weeks of use, it seems my skin didn't agree with it as I started getting small, millet-like pimples all over. Rather than the dead skin cells rolling off, the product itself seemed to pill when rubbed on my hands. The opening is too large, making it difficult to control the amount dispensed - too much comes out at once when you squeeze it.

  1. After applying the gel and rinsing it off, your skin feels incredibly soft and smooth. 2. It does a decent job of clearing out some of the sebum from your pores, especially on the nose.

  Cons

  1. As soon as you apply it to your face and start massaging, you notice something coming off that looks like dead skin. It's hard to tell if this is actually from your skin or just a characteristic of the product. This makes it difficult to confirm if you're getting an effective exfoliation.

  Pros

  It's amazing how the dead skin cells just fall off like real grime! At first, I was so fascinated that I used it every day. I was worried it might irritate my skin, but surprisingly, it didn't at all. Now I use it every morning as part of my routine.

  Cons

  The dispenser opening is a bit too wide, so it tends to dispense more product than necessary. Also, while it removes a lot of dead skin cells each time, I sometimes feel like it's more the product's texture rolling off rather than my actual dead skin. It gives the impression of removing grime, but I'm not entirely sure if it's all just my skin's dead cells.

  I haven't found anything that exfoliates as effectively as this. The generous amount is great, and I love that it can be used on the body too.

  It tends to clump up a bit excessively compared to normal dead skin cells, almost like dirt. And it seems a bit pricey.

  When I used the sample, it wasn't particularly irritating. It seemed to remove dead skin cells better than the St**** strawberry scrub product I was using before, and it made my skin feel soft and smooth, so I decided to buy the full-size product.

  Cons

  First off, when I rub my face, dead skin cells roll off like dirt, but I can't tell if it's actually my skin or if it's just the peeling gel clumping up to look like dead skin. Also, since I have sensitive skin with a lot of blemishes on my cheeks, when I rub them vigorously, my skin starts burning and tingling. Even when applying essence and emulsion afterwards, it stings, and after completing my skincare routine, my skin feels very irritated and hot. Moreover, despite all that rubbing, it seems the dead skin cells weren't removed effectively, as I could see some flaking after applying foundation.

  Pros

  I really appreciated that it didn't cause much irritation. The scent isn't overpowering, and the peeling gel itself is gentle. I'd recommend this if you want to exfoliate without any harsh effects on your skin.

  Cons

  Unfortunately, it started to pill up like dead skin almost immediately, even though I barely rubbed my face. It also kept falling off in clumps. Another issue is that since the container is designed to stand upside down, a bit of product leaks out when you open the cap. It would be great if they could improve on that aspect.

  Tip

  I won this in a Hwahae event and have been using it for about 10 days. The main advantage seems to be that it doesn't irritate the skin.

  Unlike scrubs that can irritate the skin and peeling gels that lack a refreshing feel, this The Saem product is a winner! It gently exfoliates without irritation, giving a cool, satisfying sensation as it rolls off. It seems to target only the dead skin cells, leaving my skin smooth without any discomfort. Highly recommended for effective, gentle exfoliation!

  Cons

  Make sure your skin is completely dry before use. I made the mistake of using it in the steamy bathroom after a shower. Even though I thought I'd dried off well, when I tried to exfoliate, it clumped up and stuck to my hands. For that satisfying 'peeling off in flakes' effect, you really need bone-dry skin!

  This isn't great... It doesn't effectively remove dead skin cells and it's irritating. The stuff that rolls off like dirt isn't actually dead skin, it just seems like they designed the product to do that.

  My brother bought this as a birthday gift... I love you, bro! Other scrubs I've tried had particles that were too coarse and irritating, but this one is gentle with almost no irritation. I highly recommend it for those with sensitive and dry skin like mine! The results are fantastic too! After using it, my skin feels as soft as a baby's. And the amount you get is generous! I use it, my mom uses it, and even my dad (though he denies it, I've seen him) - and it's still not running out!

  Cons

  While it feels like it's removing a ton of dead skin cells, in reality it only removes a moderate amount. (Is that even a downside? Sounds like a plus to me!)

  Tip

  Use it liberally! For reference, I use it on my whole face every 2-3 days, and on my nose area before applying base makeup.
