Being slightly acidic, it's gentler on the skin. I've tried various exfoliants (peeling pads, scrubs, brushes, etc.), but this is always my top choice when I feel the need to exfoliate. My skin feels hydrated even after use. It doesn't cause blemishes on my skin (which is prone to redness, acne, and combination). The price seems quite reasonable too. The ingredients aren't entirely perfect, but they shouldn't be a concern if they suit your skin. While it's mildly acidic and less irritating, the formula does contain some granules, so rubbing too hard at first can cause irritation. For super sensitive skin, I'd recommend a gommage-type product without granules. When using an exfoliant, gently rolling it as if you're handling baby skin is enough to remove dead skin cells. Avoiding harsh scrubbing is the basic approach for all exfoliants. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 23, 2020
First off, my skin is prone to blemishes and I have combination dehydrated skin with a lot of dead skin cells. But after just one use, I noticed the sebum plugs around my nose disappeared, leaving my skin smooth. I was worried that removing dead skin cells might leave my skin lacking moisture, but it actually provided good hydration, which I love. Since this product works by rolling off dead skin cells like dirt, I felt a bit of irritation during use. Other than that, I can't really think of any drawbacks. To minimize irritation, I'd recommend gently massaging the product instead of applying too much pressure with your hands. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 23, 2020
I was lucky enough to win this in a Hwahae giveaway, and it worked wonders for my combination skin! It provided great hydration and exfoliated my dead skin cells without any irritation. The next day, my makeup went on so much better - what a difference! It's a shame they only offer such large sizes. I wish they had smaller, more affordable options available for those who want to try it out. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 8, 2020
It effectively removes dead skin cells while leaving the skin moisturized and not dry after exfoliation, which is great. I didn't find anything particularly disappointing. It was good overall. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinJan 4, 2020
I used this before and it was pretty good. Although rubbing it in could be seen as applying pressure to the skin, I finished using it without any blemishes and my skin felt hydrated. It's expensive. And it was frustrating because it kept leaking. Apart from that, it's a satisfying product worth trying at least once. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 24, 2019
Unlike other products that leave my skin feeling extremely dry and not exfoliated, this one makes my face feel soft and hydrated after use. It's quite runny, so be careful when opening the lid if you store it upright - it might spill! Make sure to remove any excess water before applying. I use it after foam cleansing and exfoliating, and it works wonders for my skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 19, 2019
I loved how the exfoliation was in a gommage form, making the dead skin cells visibly come off! What's especially great is that even after exfoliating, my skin still felt moisturized, which wasn't too harsh for my dry skin. Since I couldn't keep testing it on my face, I tried it on my heel calluses too, and I was really satisfied with how well it removed the dead skin! The texture isn't very thick, so if you stand it upright, it easily runs down. Be careful when you open the lid to prevent it from spilling! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 13, 2019
I thought this exfoliating scrub would be harsh on my skin, but I was pleasantly surprised. After using it, my skin felt incredibly hydrated. The particles are smaller than other scrub products, making it less irritating. What's more, I didn't need to use a separate cleanser afterward - just rinsing with water was enough, which was really convenient. I have super sensitive skin and combination dehydrated skin. After using this product, I didn't experience any intense tingling or tightness. It only felt slightly dry. However, the next morning, I woke up to find 1-2 painful blemishes and some small bumps had appeared. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSep 3, 2019
It's great for gently exfoliating dead skin cells without irritation, and it's convenient to use while washing! I love how it leaves my skin feeling moisturized. The scent is pleasant too! It's a bit disappointing that it feels like it only removes dead skin cells on the surface. There's a slight feeling of tightness after exfoliating, which is a shame. Use it after opening your pores with a warm towel and patting your face dry! It's crucial to ensure there's absolutely no moisture left on your skin before applying! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 1, 2019
When I first tried this exfoliating product, I noticed that not all the residue was dead skin cells from my face. It's actually a mixture of the product and facial dead skin cells. Gently massaging it on your face like a light facial massage leaves your skin noticeably smoother! It also provides hydration! I didn't experience any irritation! After using it before a special occasion, I applied my toner and emulsion, and my makeup went on beautifully. I'm very satisfied! There wasn't really anything bad. If I had to mention something, maybe the amount...?
