  Pros

  I've been using this product consistently for several years now. Although the original was expensive, I decided to try it once and I'm completely satisfied! The product itself provides hydration, but it also helps the skincare products applied afterwards to absorb better. I feel like my complexion has brightened too.

  Cons

  There's nothing I particularly dislike about using this product. Since the renewal, it seems to have more moisture, which leaves it slightly sticky. So when applied before toner or skin, it might feel like it's not absorbing well. However, essences, emulsions, and creams absorb just fine.

  Tip

  It's good to pat it in with a cotton pad, but pressing it into your skin with your hands works wonders too. It really penetrates deep into the skin, which is great.

  Pros

  Lured by claims of being a budget-friendly SK-II dupe and the LINE collaboration, I snagged the brown 130ml + full-size 150ml, plus a 3,000 won mug, all for 50,000 won. The fermented ingredients seem to agree with my skin. During that 'magic' period, I occasionally had a pimple pop up, but overall no blemishes and my complexion seemed slightly brighter. What impressed me most was the hydration - after applying makeup, I noticed the stubborn dead skin cells around my blemishes would plump up (even to the point of peeling off). This could be seen as a downside, but I'd rather interpret it as a sign of intense hydration. At least I never experienced this with other essences.

  Cons

  It's a bit heavy on product usage. Even though I'm using special cotton pads that absorb less product due to its price, it still feels wasteful... The only other issue might be the dead skin cells becoming more noticeable after makeup application? But that's probably due to my poor exfoliation routine... I just wish it was a tad cheaper. Might need to stock up during sales.

  Pros

  It feels incredibly moisturizing and firm on the skin, and it's gentle too. After exfoliating, I apply this as the first step, then follow with my regular skincare routine. It helps my makeup adhere better and gives my complexion a brighter look. I've found that applying it with a cotton pad works even better!

  Cons

  I didn't experience any blemishes, and honestly, there aren't any downsides! If I had to nitpick, I'd say that when not using a cotton pad, it feels like the product might evaporate before fully absorbing.

  Tip

  Applying it with a cotton pad makes it feel even more hydrating.

  Pros

  The next day after applying, my complexion looks radiant. My skin feels firmer, and makeup goes on smoothly. It provides great hydration, and its effectiveness in soothing blemishes is absolutely outstanding.

  Cons

  I'm not sure about its anti-wrinkle effects, but its brightening effect is good.

  Tip

  If you squeeze a pimple and then apply this essence on a cotton pad over the area, it calms down quickly.
