  Pros

  I bought this when the 2nd generation came out after being renewed, during a sale for 10,000 won. I gave that one to my mom, but when I tried the sample I received, it was amazing... I wish I had bought more during the sale. It was when the seasons were changing and I was having some blemishes, but suddenly my skin became super soft and brighter. I was in the hospital for a few days and seriously wondered if the hospital water was good for my skin! I even asked my sister, 'Sis, my skin has improved so much lately.' After that, when I ran out of essence, I tried the one I gave to my mom, and the next day my skin was so soft and nice again. That's when I realized it was because of the sample I used while in the hospital.

  Cons

  The only downside to this product seems to be the price. Even though it's cheaper than the 1st generation and there's an economy version, it's still quite expensive for a road shop brand. It's definitely effective for me, so if they could lower the price a bit more, it would be my holy grail! Also, the purple ampoule I bought with this... was a waste. The scent and texture make it seem like it would be great for the skin, but it doesn't seem to do much. It might only work when used together with the treatment essence.

  Tip

  The fermented essence doesn't seem to suit everyone. If you get small blemishes, it could be due to toxin release, so you might need to wait it out. For those who haven't tried it yet, definitely get a sample first. These days, many shops besides Missha are coming out with fermented essences. If Missha's price is too high, you could try testing products from other brands and choose one that works for you. Alternatively, some people buy the concentrate and make their own, so you might want to consider that option too.

  My skin feels softer after use. It's packed with hydration when applied!

  Cons

  There's a slight tingling sensation. I experienced some redness on my face. It seems to run out quickly.

  Pros

  My skin feels like it's becoming softer. After checking the ingredients on Hwahae, I felt even more confident about using it.

  Cons

  It doesn't seem to suit my skin when it's feeling sensitive. Just like how some people don't react well to aromatherapy, I'm not sure if it's because of the fermented ingredients, but it doesn't always agree with me.
