As someone who prefers a foundation-free look with just sunscreen, I bought this brightening moisturizer with SPF. Being a summer cool light skin tone, yellow-based products make me look sallow and unappealing. However, this product has a pink base that beautifully evens my skin tone. While applying too much can make you look a bit pale, when spread evenly, it gives a lovely complexion without needing additional base makeup. The scent is subtle - a pleasant baby powder fragrance that feels fresh. Given its affordable price and how well it suits me, I've repurchased it three times already. It doesn't provide much coverage for blemishes. However, the lighter coverage results in a more natural skin effect, which would suit those like me who dislike heavy makeup. Those with dry skin might find it a bit matte. I usually apply an emulsion before using this. For those who layer additional base products over sunscreen, it might cause pilling. As I use it alone, I'm satisfied with the results. After your skincare routine, applying an appropriate amount should give you a beautiful skin finish. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 22, 2021
It evens out my skin tone naturally and beautifully. The main advantage is that it brightens my complexion. It feels heavy on the skin, and even after some time, it transfers onto my hands when I touch my face. There's some pilling too. Since using this, I've noticed more blemishes and acne appearing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinJul 11, 2020
I love this sunscreen for its brightening effect. It has a matte finish, making it perfect for summer use. Best of all, it doesn't rub off on masks! Because it's a matte formula, on days when my skin isn't at its best, it tends to emphasize imperfections and can pill or clump up. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 4, 2020
True to its name as a brightening moisturizer, it definitely evens skin tone, which I loved. It wasn't as sticky as I expected, which was nice. It's perfect for quickly applying before heading out for short trips nearby. I was disappointed that it pilled when I applied powder over it. I was hoping for a more noticeable brightening effect, but it was weaker than I anticipated, which was a letdown. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 4, 2020
Color: The beautiful pink base makes your face look radiant and fair. Texture: It has a moisturizing and slightly oily texture with a dewy finish. This hydrating formula with a subtle glow seems perfect for dry skin types! Longevity: I used to apply this as a base sunscreen for school in the morning. While it initially made my skin look fair and dewy, by the second period, the whiteness had faded to my natural skin tone, and the moisturized glow had turned into an oily sheen. Pilling: When used as a makeup base, if you apply foundation immediately after the sunscreen, the foundation starts to pill. Perhaps the formula is too moisturizing to be used as a base? - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinFeb 17, 2019
Excellent value for money! The high SPF and PA ratings provide great sun protection. As a brightening moisturizer, it gives a lovely pink-toned complexion enhancement. The scent is a drawback. It has an unpleasant fragrance that's hard to describe. If you're sensitive to scents like me, I wouldn't recommend it. On my skin, it pilled at least 2-3 times out of 5 applications. (As mentioned in my profile, I have dry skin!) - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 13, 2019
Back when I couldn't wear makeup at school, I'd at least apply this. The brightening effect is absolutely amazing! Even though I have dry skin, it's still moisturizing. When I put foundation on top of this, it gives such a radiant look. I'm trying to use it sparingly now! It is moisturizing, but I'm not sure if it's because I apply too much skincare underneath or what, but sometimes it pills up like dead skin cells. It's a bit frustrating. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 12, 2018
The affordable price makes it great for applying to the body. It's especially perfect as a sunscreen for the neck area. The ingredients aren't great, and it doesn't provide a natural brightening effect. After applying this sunscreen, makeup tends to pill. I only use this product on my body. Since it's sold at a low price, buy it during sales and use it generously as a body sunscreen. For the face, let's use a different product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 22, 2018
It provides a fairly natural brightening effect, which was great for days when I didn't want to wear makeup. Well, I wouldn't say it was great, but at least I didn't feel self-conscious. It pills just like any common brightening moisturizer with SPF... And some days, for some reason, it doesn't seem to brighten at all? It felt like I was just applying oil to my face. It might have been because my skin wasn't in the best condition, but anyway, it was strange. You can't apply makeup over this! On days when I need to use foundation, I use a different sunscreen. When I try to put foundation over this, it all separates. If you cover dark circles and brighten just the bridge of your nose with concealer before applying this sunscreen, it looks like you've done a natural makeup look. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 12, 2018
At first, it makes your skin look super bright, but it settles into a natural look over time. The pink base makes you look even more radiant. While it's not exactly the same from morning to evening cleansing, it still maintains that brightened complexion! I've been using just this product and concealer without foundation. The staying power is impressive! After using it for over 3 years, I won't be repurchasing... I liked how it brightened my skin almost like a foundation and had the pink base I wanted, but even with a thorough skincare routine and mixing it with moisturizer, it often pills and separates. I have a shade 23 skin tone and tend to be on the yellow side, but for others with shade 23, it might be too white and the pink base creates a noticeable color difference. That's why I've resorted to applying it like a highlighter, mainly on my forehead, nose, and center of my cheeks. Applying it primarily to the center of your face and blending outwards can give you a radiant look.
