I've repurchased this product! Being a sun base, it provides a bit of coverage and brightens my skin, which I love! It's on the matte side, so I wouldn't recommend it for those with dry skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 22, 2021
It's reasonably priced and has a distinct pink tint that effectively evens out the skin tone. You could consider it more of a makeup base with sun protection. It's great because it serves two purposes at once. The texture is smooth and it absorbs well. There's nothing particularly bothersome about it. If I had to nitpick, I'd say using this alone might make your face look a bit pale? But since it's meant to be used as a base, you wouldn't typically use it on its own anyway. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 12, 2020
First off, I love how budget-friendly this product is! I was on the hunt for a brightening moisturizer with SPF and remembered Apieu's great brand image from before, so I decided to give it a try. I'm definitely not regretting ordering two! It naturally evens out my skin tone without leaving any greasy residue. For those who find it a bit drying, just layer on some mist or a dab of cream before applying, and it'll be just as hydrating. The texture is super smooth, and when I wore it to work, someone even asked if I had makeup on! I was a bit shocked when I first saw how small it was... But considering the price, I guess it's okay! As time passes after application, it becomes more natural-looking, so don't be afraid to apply a generous amount at first. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 3, 2020
I've used about 6 bottles of this product! That's how much I loved it! First off, it's so moisturizing without feeling greasy, and it's not too matte to the point of being drying. It strikes that perfect balance, which I really appreciate! As for tone-up effect, it's good enough that I could go out wearing just this product without any other base makeup! It does provide some coverage for blemish marks, though not as much as foundation or concealer would. This has become my holy grail product - I love it! The only downside, if I had to pick one, is that since I have oily skin, it can get a bit shiny after a while. But that's not really a deal-breaker because I can always use some oil-absorbing powder when that happens. I wouldn't stop using this product just because of the oiliness issue. It's great as a makeup base! It's more suitable for daily use rather than for special occasions. While it's already affordable at regular price, you can get it even cheaper during sales or buy-one-get-one-free promotions. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 18, 2020
It naturally brightens and evens out my complexion, which I absolutely love! PEGs... I bought it without checking the ingredients, but now that I've seen them, I'm hesitant to use it often. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinApr 23, 2020
It gives a natural brightening effect with a bit of color correction! Above all, it evens out my uneven complexion, so these days I just apply this and go out without any foundation at all! There aren't any! It doesn't make my skin overly oily nor does it dry it out, so I'm really, really enjoying using it. When I do my makeup, I apply this, then a little concealer, and finish with powder! It's much lighter and more comfortable than when I used to apply foundation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 3, 2019
The brightening moisturizer works wonders for evening out my skin tone. I love that it doesn't pill when I apply cushion foundation over it. It can be a bit tricky to spread evenly, but overall I'm quite satisfied with it at the moment. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 23, 2019
It's so wonderful - it's moisturizing, gentle, and really helps even out my skin tone If you apply too much, it feels like it's just sitting on top of your skin instead of absorbing - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 16, 2019
This is my daily base product. I actually don't use foundation because it doesn't suit my skin well. So instead, I opt for a correcting sunscreen that can function as a base. - It's moisturizing. Being a correcting sunscreen with an apricot tint, it provides a nice foundation-like effect (though it doesn't offer full coverage). It slightly conceals small blemishes. - If your skin is in good condition, I think you could use this year-round without any issues. - It doesn't sting much and seems less irritating compared to other products. - I have somewhat large pores, and this makes them appear smoother, which I love. Points for improvement: - The cosmetic scent is quite strong. At first, I thought it was a baby-like fragrance, but it's definitely a cosmetic smell. - If you don't control the amount well, it can pill excessively. - The quantity seems a bit small (or maybe I'm just using too much...). - It's a bit on the oily side. 1. It might be too oily for those with oily skin and may pill for those with dry skin. Make sure to exfoliate and do your skincare routine before applying. 2. Don't try to apply too much at once. Layer it on gradually to avoid pilling. 3. In summer, mixing it with some powder might work well. 4. In my case, it didn't cause major irritation on acne-prone areas, but it's best to use acne patches, avoid applying directly on blemishes, or take extra care with those areas. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinJan 22, 2019
Color: The brightening moisturizer effect is fantastic. When squeezed out, it has a light apricot color that gives your skin a vibrant, brighter complexion. It's reminiscent of Chanel's peach shade. Unlike other sunscreens that leave a white cast and quickly fade, this one maintains its brightening effect throughout the day. It gives you a lively, youthful appearance. Application: It glides on smoothly like an emulsion and leaves a slightly dewy, hydrated finish. As sunscreen is the final step in skincare and the first in makeup, I apply it with both hands and a sponge. It spreads easily without clumping when applied by hand, feeling creamy and smooth. Using a damp sponge slightly reduces the brightening effect but gives a more natural, even application. Suitable for all seasons, though those with oily skin might find the emulsion-like texture a bit heavy in summer. Longevity: Even after 12 hours of wear, from office to makeup removal, the brightening effect persists. When I wet my face to remove makeup, I notice white droplets forming - a sign that the brightening effect is still active. This is why I love this sunscreen so much! I've tried other brightening moisturizers, but their effects were minimal and they just made my skin look pale, despite their high price tags. This Pure Block Mild Sunscreen combines sun protection with effective brightening power. It's perfect for students as a makeup base, and suitable for all ages (I'm in my 30s and love it!). Hydration: It feels as moisturizing as applying an emulsion. Even with minimal skincare prep, this sunscreen balances your skin's hydration. I've been using it since late August, and it's become even more satisfying as the weather has cooled down, which I think is a testament to its well-balanced oil and moisture content. Great value! A brightening moisturizer and sunscreen in one! I'm so satisfied that I'll definitely repurchase this A'pieu Block Mild Sunscreen. It's impressive enough to replace my previous holy grail sunscreen (which I used to stock up on during trips to Japan). Typically, you'd use about a 100 won coin-sized amount of sunscreen, but because of its brightening effect, using too much can make your skin look excessively white. The brightening effect intensifies with layering, so you need to apply just the right amount for your skin tone. Using a smaller amount might make you feel like you're not getting enough sun protection. I use this as a substitute for brightening moisturizer. For my daily makeup routine, I use this sunscreen as a base and only apply liquid concealer on areas with blemishes. This allows me to complete my base makeup without feeling heavy on the skin while still achieving a radiant look. (You'll definitely notice the before and after difference in tone correction in the photos)
