In my experience, this product works great in humid summers. In winter, it can feel a bit drying when used alone. However, since I usually apply cushion or BB cream over sunscreen, it's not a major issue. Occasionally, when my skin is extremely dry in winter, I have felt a slight tightness after application. The formula has a very delicate pink tint, similar to a pink-toned makeup base. When applied, it brightens and evens out the complexion, making your skin tone look beautiful. No stinging in the eyes, gentle on the skin, and provides a brightening effect... I can't really think of any downsides. If you prefer a more hydrating application, try mixing it with a bit of moisturizer or hydrating cream for added moisture. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 2, 2024
As someone who prefers a foundation-free look with just sunscreen, I bought this brightening moisturizer with SPF. Being a summer cool light skin tone, yellow-based products make me look sallow and unappealing. However, this product has a pink base that beautifully evens my skin tone. While applying too much can make you look a bit pale, when spread evenly, it gives a lovely complexion without needing additional base makeup. The scent is subtle - a pleasant baby powder fragrance that feels fresh. Given its affordable price and how well it suits me, I've repurchased it three times already. It doesn't provide much coverage for blemishes. However, the lighter coverage results in a more natural skin effect, which would suit those like me who dislike heavy makeup. Those with dry skin might find it a bit matte. I usually apply an emulsion before using this. For those who layer additional base products over sunscreen, it might cause pilling. As I use it alone, I'm satisfied with the results. After your skincare routine, applying an appropriate amount should give you a beautiful skin finish. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 20, 2024
Brightening effect: It effectively evens out the skin tone. Fragrance: The scent is pleasant and not overpowering. Oiliness: The product is too rich for my liking, making it difficult to apply with my hands. Eye irritation: It causes some discomfort around the eyes. While the price point is attractive, the overall experience is not satisfactory. Be cautious when applying to the neck area while wearing light-colored clothing, as the sunscreen can transfer easily. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinApr 27, 2024
It really brightens and evens skin tone - amazing! Such great value for money too. Unfortunately, after a little while it tends to emphasize dead skin cells. That's a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 11, 2023
I've been using this since I was young. It gives a beautiful brightening effect and doesn't cause any blemishes on my sensitive skin. Ironically, other supposedly gentle sunscreens or mineral sunscreens cause more irritation. Plus, the price is so reasonable! I'd be heartbroken if it were discontinued. Now that I know about the ingredients, it's a bit disappointing. But I think if it works for my skin, that's what matters most, so I'll probably keep using it! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinOct 4, 2023
- Gentle and hydrating enough for combination dehydrated skin to apply carelessly even with hands - Doesn't cause dead skin cells to flake when applying - The pink base provides a natural brightening effect, which is great - Feels moisturizing during application, but leaves a soft, matte finish afterwards - Perfect for a quick, one-step application before heading out - Doesn't wear off gracefully - Lacks coverage - Quite rich in oils, so oily skin types may find it makes their skin greasy quickly Even those with oily skin can achieve a soft, pink-toned base by setting it well with powder or using blotting papers afterwards. Great for everyday use! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 21, 2023
1. It's the cheapest on Hwahae. 2. The brightening moisturizer function works well. 3. Texture: It's extremely lightweight. Should be good to use even in winter. The brightening moisturizer color looks pink, but it applies white. I plan to stop using it in the future due to the ingredients. Didn't have any major complaints. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJun 11, 2023
- It has a great brightening effect : It's not just white, but has a pink base, which gives a more natural and clean complexion enhancement - It feels a bit rich : It has that typical sunscreen shine, so I always make sure to set it with powder - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 5, 2022
Nothing extraordinary, but its affordability makes it a solid choice for everyday use. I appreciated how it evens skin tone naturally without leaving a white cast or being too heavy. The biggest advantage seems to be that it doesn't have any major drawbacks. I'd say it offers good value for money. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 16, 2022
I love how it provides sun protection while also acting as a brightening moisturizer. It makes my face look radiant and helps conceal minor blemishes. The pink base doesn't make me look too pale, but instead gives me a healthy glow with just the right amount of color. It can emphasize dead skin cells. The scent isn't great. If you don't control the amount properly, it can make your skin look unnaturally bright. Applying it with a puff helps reduce the emphasis on dead skin cells and improves longevity. Also, setting it with powder helps it last longer. I wouldn't recommend this for those with dry skin.
