I love how it provides sun protection while also acting as a brightening moisturizer. It makes my face look radiant and helps conceal minor blemishes. The pink base doesn't make me look too pale, but instead gives me a healthy glow with just the right amount of color. It can emphasize dead skin cells. The scent isn't great. If you don't control the amount properly, it can make your skin look unnaturally bright. Applying it with a puff helps reduce the emphasis on dead skin cells and improves longevity. Also, setting it with powder helps it last longer. I wouldn't recommend this for those with dry skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinNov 1, 2020
Love it!!!!! Scored a great deal - originally 8,000 won, but I snagged it at 50% off for just 4,000 won GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) Hwahae 1. The brightening effect looks natural 2. It's so moisturizing that even a small amount provides good coverage 3. The scent is neither here nor there 4. It has a pink base (perfect for my cool undertone) I absolutely adore the pink tint, but those with warm undertones might find it sits a bit off on their skin... It can be slightly drying, but it's all good if you layer it over your skincare! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinDec 29, 2019
It's great for brightening, applies smoothly, and provides decent coverage for blemishes. As someone with dry skin, it doesn't cake up and works well as a makeup base. If you apply too much, it can cause dead skin cells to appear around the nose and chin areas. This could probably be addressed with an emulsion or proper skincare routine, though I don't do that myself... haha. - Hwahae UserOily SkinJun 15, 2019
The pink brightening moisturizer gives you a peachy glow! It has a bit of coverage, so it's perfect for a light application. The downside is that it's quite rich, so you need to keep touching up with powder throughout the day. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 25, 2018
I love that it's a sunscreen that can also provide coverage at the same time! For those with oily skin, it might feel a bit heavy and potentially clog pores. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 2, 2018
It really brightens up your complexion and gives you a radiant look. It also does a decent job of covering pores. You can wear this on its own and your skin will look fantastic! If you don't exfoliate, it might emphasize dead skin cells. Also, be careful when applying around the eyes as it can cause some sensitivity. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 24, 2018
As a student, I needed a product that would give me a natural brightening effect, and this pink-based one suits my naturally yellowish complexion perfectly. It does a great job of concealing minor blemishes like blackheads. I bought it during a buy-one-get-one-free sale last summer and have been applying it daily before school. I'm not sure if I'm using it sparingly, but I haven't even finished one tube yet - there's surprisingly a lot of product! After about 4-5 hours of wear, some oil starts to show up in the T-zone and there's a bit of darkening. It also tends to come off easily with sweat. Personally, I find it absorbs best when applied with fingers. You need to be careful with the amount you use. For those with oily skin, it works well when used together with a sebum control powder. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 9, 2018
It gives such a beautiful skin finish... Creates a radiant, pink-toned complexion. The absorption isn't bad, and it feels quite hydrating at first! It's convenient as a sunscreen that also brightens and provides some coverage. Great value for money. Hmm... It's a bit oily, so when it breaks down, it does so in a somewhat messy way. The pretty skin effect is very short-lived, and it changes dramatically after just a few hours. It starts off hydrating but gets slightly shiny later, though not too badly. And... it transfers a bit. Even with a light scratch... it comes off. It might be better to just buy one with UV protection only. There's a slight emphasis on dead skin cells, but it's acceptable at this level. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAug 4, 2017
It felt nice and moisturizing to my dry skin, and the smooth application was great. My skin didn't break out or anything. It's a sun base, but the high sun protection factor is good for wearing it lightly when going out instead of sunscreen. The tone-up effect doesn't just make me look unnaturally bright, but brightens my skin in a natural way. And when I use a concealer product on top, the coverage becomes incredibly high. I'm almost done with the product and will repurchase. The only downside is that the volume is too small. If you use the Apieu tone-up sun base and the Etude House Big Cover concealer, the coverage will be enhanced and there won't be any cakiness. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 19, 2017
This sunscreen seems to be a great option for those who find foundation or BB creams too heavy and stuffy. It's not too oily or too dry, so it's comfortable and lightweight for daily use. Just a light application and a touch of blush makes my complexion look so delicate and radiant. I'm already on my 4th bottle! It's a shame that it's not sweat-resistant. Whenever I sweat, it becomes blotchy and uneven. Also, since my skin is a bit sensitive, it sometimes stings a little.
