I'm not a fan of that slippery feeling after applying hair products, but this one seems to have the least of that sensation. I have sensitive skin, and two days after using this, I broke out with many blemishes on my face and neck. After I stopped using it, my skin improved. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJul 6, 2020
I have thin, frizzy hair that's prone to dryness and damage. After applying this to damp hair and blow-drying, my once frizzy and dry locks become noticeably softer and more manageable. I'm kicking myself for not trying this sooner - I'm completely satisfied! I love that it barely leaves any residual oil on my hands. The value for money is great too - you get a generous amount, and they even throw in a small sample size! The scent is a deal-breaker for me... It's a heavy coconut fragrance that's overly sweet and gives me a headache. I try my best to avoid smelling it. If you apply it to damp hair without blow-drying, the ends of your hair can cause redness and itching when they touch the back of your neck. While it subsides quickly, those with super sensitive skin should be cautious. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 29, 2020
Applying it before and after drying definitely makes my hair shinier and more manageable. I worry I might be using too much, but once my hair dries, it seems to absorb well without any stickiness. While I'm satisfied with the effects, my scalp has become unbearably itchy since I started using this. At first, I thought it was just due to the change in seasons, but it turns out it was because of this product. Although I didn't get any blemishes, my scalp was so incredibly itchy that I found myself constantly scratching without realizing it. Even when I only applied it to the ends of my hair, it somehow reached my scalp while I slept and caused irritation. I developed small bumps like millet seeds on the back of my neck and along my hairline. Unless you have super strong, iron-like skin, I'd advise against using this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 24, 2020
The fragrance is lovely - how to describe it? A nutty, sweet scent perhaps? While it didn't provide a miracle solution for my bleached, frizzy hair, it did leave my locks feeling soft and smooth after application. Suddenly, blemishes started appearing all over my cheeks and chin, and my skin became inflamed. I was puzzled until I realized it was because of this product. I didn't even use that much and tried to apply it only to the outer parts of my hair. Unfortunately, since I have a bob and don't tie my hair back, it must have come into contact with my face. I'd recommend testing it for a few days before regular use, just to be safe. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 18, 2019
My hair was damaged from frequent coloring, but this product seemed to work wonders with the smallest amount. When it touched my face while applying to my hair, it caused a slight tingling sensation. If you have sensitive skin, be careful to apply it only to your hair. I apply it once after shampooing and towel-drying, then blow-dry my hair, and apply it once more. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 30, 2019
My coworker frequently bleaches her hair, leaving it looking like a mess. But when I touched it, it felt surprisingly nice, so I asked about her hair care routine. She recommended this product... I bought it during an Olive Young sale, and wow, it really does wonders for your hair texture! I apply it twice - once when my hair is still slightly damp before blow-drying, and again after it's completely dry. Before using this, my hair was super dry and frizzy, especially after a bad perm that left it looking like a disaster. But since I started using this, I'm slowly getting back to my original, healthier hair condition! It's so satisfying when friends notice and compliment how much better my hair looks now. The scent is also quite pleasant and long-lasting. I'm really enjoying using this product! One downside is that my hair reaches just above my chest, and usually, I focus on applying products to the ends where it's most damaged. However, after using this, I noticed blemishes appearing on my lower cheeks! I checked the ingredients, and they don't seem great. While it improves hair texture, the blemishes are a concern, so I've reduced my usage to occasional applications. Also, there's always residue left on my hands after applying, which only comes off with soap. I wish I had known this before buying! I hope this information helps those considering purchasing this product! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJun 9, 2019
My hair feels silky smooth, and the fragrance is fantastic! If you catch it on sale, it's incredibly affordable. I exclusively use L'Oreal for hair essences because the results are just that good. Highly recommended! This product makes my scalp itchy... Especially if I apply it and then lie down, it seems to get on my scalp and causes irritation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMay 15, 2019
I tried this at Olive Young and was instantly smitten by its immediate effects, so I bought it on the spot! My hair is thin and bleached, so it's quite damaged. Even when I apply other essences, it tends to tangle badly. However, when I applied the L'Oreal Elseve Extraordinary Oil, my tangled hair smoothed out beautifully, and it remained less tangled as time passed. Texture: It's thinner than I expected, but imagine something like a slightly runny nose - that's the consistency. Scent: It has a somewhat heavy vanilla fragrance. Not recommended for those sensitive to scents, but if you're not bothered by fragrances, I highly recommend it! The ingredients list is quite disappointing, unfortunately. I occasionally get blemishes on the back of my neck... Plus, the price... While it's less burdensome if you catch a 1+1 deal, the value for money is still lacking. Remove some moisture from your hair, then pump once for short hair or twice for long hair into your palm. Rub your hands together to spread the essence evenly, then apply it to your hair from the ends up, avoiding the scalp. Since the ends are usually the most damaged, don't rub it in - just gently coat the hair. After blow-drying, apply a bit more to the ends. This will keep your hair tangle-free and soft all day long! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 12, 2019
It gives your hair a temporary dazzling shine. The fragrance is quite pleasing. I have skin so tough that usually nothing affects it, no matter what I apply. But after using this oil, just briefly touching my cheek while drying my hair seemed to cause a hundred hives to appear... I'll have to throw this away. It's absolutely shocking. If you're confident in your skin, go ahead and use it. Otherwise, toss it out. Seriously. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 8, 2019
This hair essence has become my go-to product. I've used at least 3 bottles by now. Among all the products I've tried, including Silk Therapy, this one gives me the highest satisfaction. Right after application, it makes my hair look elastic and smooth while finishing with a fresh feel. What I love most is that it doesn't leave any stickiness on my hands. The scent isn't overpowering either, so I can use it worry-free with perfume or other fragranced products. The glass container is both a pro and a con... When it fell from about 50cm height onto my phone, it completely shattered the screen. The screen was damaged beyond use. Sometimes when it falls and hits my foot, it feels like it could break my toes. It's a good idea to stock up when it's on sale at Olive Young. I find it works well to mix this hair essence with a bit of perfume when applying!
