It does leave your hands feeling a bit oily after application, but it definitely works wonders for your hair It's supposed to have an oriental woody scent, but... the fragrance is too strong for my liking, unfortunately - so*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRecommendedDec 2, 2022
This is a great hair oil for daily use with excellent value for money. It doesn't weigh down even fine hair, leaving your locks soft and smooth. Personally, I wasn't a fan of the scent, but other than that, I don't have any complaints. - hu*********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 5, 2022
It's slightly heavy, but it instantly gives my hair a beautiful shine. It makes my hair look like I just had a professional treatment. The fragrance is quite nice too. It might be a tad heavy? But honestly, I don't have any real complaints. It's great, really great! - rt****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 31, 2022
The scent is absolutely divine - it's more of a sweet woody fragrance rather than an oriental woody one. When no other oil, essence, or hair cream can restore your hair texture anymore, Rich Brown clings to your hair, providing a heavy but effective solution to salvage your locks. It's prone to clumping excessively. Even with a small amount, it easily becomes sticky. It feels incredibly heavy, as if it's encased in glass. I wouldn't recommend this if you dislike heavy textures and products that make your hair clump. However, if your hair is in such a dire state that you don't care about clumping and just need something - anything - to protect your hair, then go for it. Due to its questionable ingredients, I strongly advise against applying it before bed. The fragrance is so lovely - does anyone have recommendations for similar scented perfumes, hair mists, hand creams, or other products in this range? - lu*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 23, 2022
It's great that it calms my hair and doesn't cause any blemishes when it touches my face. There's not much to complain about. I'd recommend this to anyone struggling with their hair texture. - an********Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 23, 2022
I was pleased to see some recovery when I applied it daily to my damaged hair. The hair essence's scent was too strong, which made using it unpleasant. - li****Dry SkinRecommendedOct 12, 2022
The fragrance is lovely and it adds a beautiful shine. It definitely makes my hair feel softer. After applying, there's a slightly sticky feeling on the hands, but this can be resolved by washing them thoroughly. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinOct 1, 2022
The scent is decent. It seems to be relatively affordable compared to other options. If you don't control the amount well, it can get cakey. I'm not sure about its effectiveness. - bl**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 30, 2022
I usually apply hair essence because my mom tells me to, not because I personally think it's great. But this time, I had an experience that made me realize 'Oh, so this is what hair essence can do!' and it inspired me to write this review. I'm kicking myself for not taking before and after photos since I didn't plan on writing this review initially. My hair is more frizzy than curly, and I've consistently gotten magic perms or hippie perms. For the past three years, I've maintained a hippie perm, but last week I got a volume magic perm for the first time in a while. My bangs ended up feeling fried and brittle. Even after thoroughly wetting and combing them, or trying to style with a flat iron, nothing seemed to help. I was feeling pretty down about it when my mom applied this L'Oreal Paris Extra Rich Oil to my bangs, massaging it in. I kid you not, the very next day my bangs were noticeably improved. The difference was visible even without touching - the brittleness that had been so apparent was now barely noticeable to the touch. After just two days of this treatment, my hair was back to normal. I had even made an appointment at the salon to complain, but I ended up canceling it. This was the first time I truly felt the effectiveness of a hair essence. The fragrance is also pleasantly fresh. Even if I accidentally apply too much, it doesn't leave my hair greasy or weighed down - it absorbs cleanly, which I love. There's nothing particularly bad to mention! The large size might be inconvenient for carrying around, but personally, I find it great because I can use it generously without worrying about running out. Apply a small amount right after washing your hair while it's still damp, and then again once it's dry to keep your hair looking neat. It also helps reduce damage when using heat styling tools. If you have curly hair, apply a bit more to damp hair and twist it in the direction of your curls - it'll make them bouncier and more defined. You won't even need separate curling wax or fixers! - tl********Normal SkinRecommendedAug 29, 2022
This hair oil is an absolute must-have for my wavy, damaged hair. The generous volume means it lasts a long time, and it's a product I've been loyal to. It tames my unruly lion's mane and nourishes my locks. I highly recommend it! The only downside? The scent. It smells a bit like perm solution, and it's not exactly a pleasant fragrance. After washing my hair, I apply one pump of this oil to my strands before blow-drying. Then, when my hair is about 80% dry, I use another pump (remember, this isn't meant for the scalp). Finally, I finish drying with cool air for best results.
