I also love the signature scent of MAC lipsticks.
ConsIt tends to emphasize dead skin cells on the lips and can look a bit dry. But well, that's typical for matte types. The color might be a bit intense for full lip application.
TipIt looks beautiful when blended for a gradient effect.

Depending on my mood, I mix it with lip balm or tint to tone it down. Sometimes I apply this color after using a light foundation. The shade is beautiful!
ConsIt's a lipstick. We all know that foundations often contain concerning ingredients, but MAC is no joke either. It's a trendy lipstick, so hmm... I wish there were more color cosmetics we could use without worrying. The color payoff and staying power are good though. I wonder when we'll see truly healthy lip products.
TipIf you apply it after using a lip balm, it seems to be a bit easier to remove.

For a matte lipstick, it applies smoothly and feels less drying than expected. As a summer cool tone, I usually gravitate towards fuchsia pinks, but this one suits me moderately well. It's a bit bold? The pink is quite vibrant, so I need to apply it lightly. It's a bright, fluorescent pink with a hint of purple. Hmm... it's hard to describe, but there might be a touch of white mixed in too. This gives it a slightly floating appearance. I agree with another review that mentioned even as a summer cool tone, it's challenging to pull off this 'Candy Yum-Yum' shade completely. Still, the color itself is really beautiful!
ConsThe scent was disappointing. It smells like pills... It tends to accentuate wrinkles a bit. Dead skin cell management is a must!

When I applied Candy Yum-Yum, it was like someone flipped on a fluorescent light - it really popped!
ConsIf I had to pick something, I'd say the application feel and the scent are a bit disappointing. Those two aspects could use some improvement.
TipThe gradient effect is beautiful, and it looks great as a full lip color too! Since it can be a bit drying, I layer a tube lip balm on top.

This product made me realize I'm actually a cool tone, when I thought I was a deep undertone all my life... (Though Chili seems to suit me better in my eyes, and honestly, I'm still not entirely sure). 2. It's incredibly vibrant! The unusual fluorescent pink shade makes it worth having in your collection (it really makes a statement when worn as a full lip on dark hair!!!)
Cons1. Because it's such a bold color, you need to have flawless skin to confidently wear it. Otherwise, you might hesitate to apply it. 2. It's not an everyday color, so the tube probably won't get much smaller even after the expiration date (is this actually a pro?)
TipOn days when you've applied an orange or coral lip color but feel like something's missing, try adding Candy Yum-Yum as a gradient on the inner part of your lips. The resulting color is beautifully unique and pretty!

As someone with cool undertones, the vibrant neon pink really brings my complexion to life!
ConsAfter some time, it can cause a bit of dead skin cells to appear on the lips.
TipFor best results with matte lipsticks, I've found that using a lip primer beforehand works wonders.

It's ideal for festivals, parties, or club nights when you want to go all out. For a more subtle daily look, try applying it just to the center of your lips for a beautiful gradient effect. It's especially stunning in summer!
ConsThe extremely matte formula requires well-prepped lips to look its best. Make sure to exfoliate and moisturize beforehand, and a lip balm is an absolute must!
TipIf you find it too matte or intense, try layering a lip gloss on top for a gorgeous finish. For everyday wear in summer, apply it just to the center of your lips for a lovely gradient effect that's more wearable.

I've been using it non-stop and still haven't reached the end. I fell in love with its unique color that's so vibrant it's almost unsuitable for dogs or cows! The color payoff is stunning and the staying power is excellent too!
ConsIf your skin isn't fair or you have blemishes, using this might actually make your face look messy!
TipIt also looks beautiful when you create a gradient effect with Ruby Woo.
