When you first apply and massage it in, you feel a slight warmth that gives a nice massage-like sensation. I love that warmth so much that I find myself rolling and massaging even more. It's a unique feeling I haven't experienced with other products. While it may not be the most effective at removing makeup, it gives me a sense of healing and makes me feel like my skin is improving. I'm not sure how well it removes makeup. It's fine though, since I follow up with a foam cleanser anyway. The price is quite steep for a cleansing balm. I bought the smaller size, and it's not only limited in quantity but also expensive. For other products, I don't mind paying more if they're good, but for a cleansing balm, I don't want to spend this much. I tried it once, but that's it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 18, 2019
Using a spatula, I scoop out a small amount (about the size of my pinky nail) and instead of applying it directly to my skin, I warm it up using my body heat. Then I apply it to my face, gently roll it, and wipe it off with a towel. It leaves my skin feeling fresh and not dry at all. For a cleansing balm, it has a surprisingly light feel. My skin doesn't feel tight afterwards, and I notice my complexion looks clearer. The Hwahae Testers would approve! The price point is a bit on the higher side. I'm looking for similar products that might be more budget-friendly. If the price was better, I'd definitely keep using this as part of my daily skincare routine. Here's a pro tip: when wiping it off, use a warm towel. Even better, try using a steamed towel for that spa-like experience and enhanced cleansing effectiveness! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 5, 2019
The texture is really nice. It's incredibly gentle and leaves my skin feeling deeply cleansed, like it's removed all the excess sebum. The next day, my complexion looks noticeably clearer. 1. You're supposed to use a spatula to scoop it out, but it's a hassle so I end up just using my fingers. 2. It has a slippery, oil-like consistency, and you're meant to wipe it off with the small cloth provided, which is annoying. I'd prefer to just rinse it off with water, but water alone doesn't remove it properly. Plus, the cloth is too small and rough, making it uncomfortable and potentially irritating to the skin. It also needs to be washed after each use. 3. It's overpriced, especially considering the small amount you get. 4. The ingredients list isn't particularly impressive either. On days when I need a deep cleanse, I find it effective to soak a gauze cloth in warm water, wring it out, apply the cleansing balm, and then wipe it off with the damp gauze. This seems to really improve sebum removal. However, be aware that the balm contains small particles that might be too harsh for super sensitive skin, so it may not be suitable for everyone. - ha********Combination SkinSep 3, 2018
It feels like it's good because it's expensive. My skin seems to become more hydrated, and I can sense some nourishing ingredients touching my skin, though honestly, I'm not entirely sure. The cleansing effectiveness doesn't seem very high. It's just like feeling good ingredients on my face. The smell is absolutely awful. I used it carelessly because it was a gift, but then I found out it was expensive. It should have just been marketed as a massage cream with good ingredients. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 5, 2017
This is the best cleansing balm I've ever used. It immediately improves my complexion after use. I'm extremely sensitive to oil-based products and couldn't even consider using cleansing oils before, but this balm melts into an oil-like texture that cleanses so effectively. It's my holy grail... You absolutely must buy it! It's way too expensive. The price is justified by its quality, but it's so costly that I don't think I'll be able to use it again... Some say you don't need to double cleanse after using this, but my skin reacted badly when I didn't. If you have super sensitive skin, I recommend following up with a cleansing foam. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 27, 2016
This cleansing balm is unlike anything I've experienced before! After cleansing, it felt like I'd just had a luxurious facial massage. My skin feels incredibly smooth and hydrated even after rinsing. I don't think I'll be able to use any other cleansers now. The price is a bit steep for a cleanser, unfortunately. I've been using a small amount in the morning too, and it provides just the right level of hydration for this season. It's perfect! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinNov 5, 2016
It was great for gently rolling during cleansing. There are some particles that give a feeling of exfoliating dead skin cells too! Honestly, despite the price, it doesn't seem to remove makeup very well. Unlike oil cleansers, the product doesn't really wash away when rinsed with water. I ended up buying two, but I won't be repurchasing. - yj****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinFeb 22, 2016
It may look like a solid cleansing balm, but it spreads out softly when scooped with a spatula. The black formula melts lightly and smoothly with your body heat. The silt particles aren't too harsh on the skin. With its high moisture content, your skin doesn't feel dry even after wiping it off with a cloth - it feels just right. You only need about two pearl-sized amounts for a good cleansing session, and it easily removes most makeup. Considering it's not an organic brand, I think the ingredients are pretty decent. I've been alternating between this and The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter, and I must say, Omorovicza definitely delivers dramatic results in a short time, making it worth every penny. It's still quite pricey though. The jar format makes using a spatula a bit inconvenient. Despite its high moisture content, it might not feel as hydrating as you'd expect. It's less moisturizing compared to The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter. For those with thin, sensitive skin, the silt particles might still feel a bit abrasive during the massage. It doesn't remove tinted lip balms very well, which I use often. I didn't notice much benefit for blackhead removal, and it doesn't seem to cleanse deep into the pores. The main ingredients are moisturizing oils, and it has relatively less surfactants, so it doesn't rinse off easily with water. You'll need to wipe it off with a cloth, which can be a bit of a hassle. You don't necessarily need to use a muslin cloth. Any soft cotton fabric will do. Experts say that even flannel, the kind of cotton often used for plaid shirts, is sufficient for this purpose.
