  My friend with dry skin said it's moisturizing enough to apply right after cleansing without any issues

  Cons

  As someone with oily skin, choosing this was my biggest mistake... It transfers like crazy, leaves marks everywhere, and doesn't even improve skin appearance...

  Pros

  Compared to essence cushions, I liked that this was more hydrating and had better coverage.

  Cons

  However, perhaps because it's so moisturizing, my face becomes excessively oily not long after applying makeup. It also seems to cause some darkening of my complexion.

  Tip

  Finishing with a no-sebum powder after makeup seems to help reduce the oiliness a bit.

  Pros

  It's incredibly moisturizing! When you apply it, your skin becomes radiant. This product makes your skin look amazing. Unlike other cushions that can make you look cakey, this one applies so thinly. It naturally evens your skin tone with moderate coverage.

  Cons

  It tends to break down easily. It's also quite sticky.

  Tip

  To improve longevity, apply a primer beforehand. You can also set it with powder to enhance its staying power and achieve a nice matte finish.

  The foundation feels nicely moisturizing. The shade 23 is quite suitable for my skin tone.

  Cons

  It really breaks down unattractively on the skin. It settles into pores, and comes off easily... Definitely won't be repurchasing.

  Pros

  At first, it looks a bit too made-up, but as time passes, the skin expression becomes absolutely fantastic! Being an essence cushion, it's nicely hydrating and seems to have a slight cooling effect. It's supposed to have a pink base, but on me, it appears slightly grayish. There doesn't seem to be much darkening, and the staying power is incredibly long-lasting. The coverage is also excellent.

  Cons

  When applied, it goes on thick and doesn't adhere well to the skin. If your nail accidentally brushes against it, that entire area gets smudged. Since it's an essence cushion, as time passes, it tends to get quite oily, so I wouldn't recommend it for summer use.

  Tip

  I find that using a beauty blender or wedge sponge instead of the cushion puff that comes with it gives better adherence, so I apply it with those.

  Hmm... I'm not sure if this has been reformulated, but when I first bought it twice, the coverage was amazing and could hide all my blemishes and acne marks. However, with my recent repurchase, I noticed the coverage has decreased. Wonder why... Putting that aside, in terms of hydration, it's quite good. It doesn't cake up either.

  Cons

  However, it's so moisturizing that it's more like a regular foundation than a touch-up product. If you use it for your initial makeup application, it gets oily after a few hours. It's a bit greasy even when first applied (may vary person to person). Also, I don't think it's suitable for oily skin due to its acne-triggering ingredients (why did I only discover Hwahae now?). I used it without thinking, but it turned out to be the cause of my small bumps, so I stopped using it.

  Tip

  Use it for touch-ups.

  Pros

  Even with my extremely dry skin, it kept me moisturized for a long time. I was especially impressed by how well it worked for touch-ups.

  Cons

  The only downside was that it became a bit shiny later on. Also, I found that shade 23 wasn't as light as I expected.

  I absolutely loved how this product is moisturizing while providing excellent coverage. The natural glow it gives makes my skin look so vibrant and healthy! I was impressed by its outstanding longevity, staying put for hours without breaking down. Even when it did start to fade, it did so beautifully. I'm extremely satisfied. Highly recommended!

  Cons

  I originally have fair skin with cool undertones, and I wanted a natural skin-like finish, so I bought shade 23. Now I regret it... I plan to repurchase in shade 21 next time. If you have a light complexion like me, I suggest going for shade 21!

  Tip

  Make sure to maintain your cushion compact properly! If the cushion gets dirty, your makeup can look patchy and it can also make your skin dirty. Always replace the cushion regularly while using it!

  Pros

  For my combination skin that's quite oily (like cooking oil!) with very dry areas except the T-zone, this worked really well. It's super hydrating and doesn't separate. I love how it leaves my skin feeling moisturized! I was out for nearly seven hours without any touch-ups, and when I got back, there was only minimal breakdown. It doesn't completely fall apart but rather fades beautifully! I haven't finished it yet, but I'll definitely repurchase.

  Cons

  It's called 'Intensive Cover', so I thought it might have decent coverage, but as expected, it's not as good at covering as matte products. Also, the finish is a bit dewy, which some people might find sticky.

  Tip

  Solve coverage issues with concealer before applying the cushion! Combat stickiness and improve longevity by finishing with powder!
