  Pros

  It's incredibly moisturizing! When you apply it, your skin becomes radiant. This product makes your skin look amazing. Unlike other cushions that can make you look cakey, this one applies so thinly. It naturally evens your skin tone with moderate coverage.

  Cons

  It tends to break down easily. It's also quite sticky.

  Tip

  To improve longevity, apply a primer beforehand. You can also set it with powder to enhance its staying power and achieve a nice matte finish.

  I absolutely loved how this product is moisturizing while providing excellent coverage. The natural glow it gives makes my skin look so vibrant and healthy! I was impressed by its outstanding longevity, staying put for hours without breaking down. Even when it did start to fade, it did so beautifully. I'm extremely satisfied. Highly recommended!

  Cons

  I originally have fair skin with cool undertones, and I wanted a natural skin-like finish, so I bought shade 23. Now I regret it... I plan to repurchase in shade 21 next time. If you have a light complexion like me, I suggest going for shade 21!

  Tip

  Make sure to maintain your cushion compact properly! If the cushion gets dirty, your makeup can look patchy and it can also make your skin dirty. Always replace the cushion regularly while using it!

  This is my review after using the Essence Cushion Intensive Cover for two weeks. I bought it for 12,800 won and plan to repurchase after I finish it. As someone with oily but dehydrated skin, I chose this moisturizing cushion because my skin gets extremely dry in winter. I was surprised to find it's quite popular! Now, let me dive into its strengths. The biggest advantage is that despite being hydrating, it doesn't smudge during touch-ups - a rare quality! I used to remove all my makeup before reapplying, but with this, I can simply layer it on without any pilling. When you apply it, your skin gets an incredible glow. It makes your complexion look so beautiful - smooth, clean, and porcelain-like. Honestly, I had no expectations for Missha cushions and wasn't even interested, but this became my holy grail product. The cushion case doesn't look typical of Missha... it's luxurious and absolutely gorgeous. I was amazed by how beautiful the color turned out. It's neither too light nor too dark for shade 23, which is perfect. If you have dry skin, you must try this! I've been recommending it to all my friends.

  Cons

  There weren't many downsides, but let me mention one. This product comes in two versions - I have the Intensive Cover, and the other is just the Essence Cushion. I chose the Intensive Cover because I prioritize coverage, but I'm not sure if it really lives up to its name. It's not that it doesn't provide any coverage, but it's not as high as you'd expect from something called 'Intensive Cover'. It can conceal minor blemishes to some extent, but it struggles with larger pimples or spots. I even tried applying two layers, but still needed to use concealer for complete coverage. I'm not sure if it really deserves the 'Intensive Cover' label.

  Tip

  Even though I have oily skin, this is my go-to cushion in winter because it's incredibly hydrating. I highly recommend it for those with dry skin!!! If you have dry skin, I think this cushion would work well for you all year round. Because it's so moisturizing, hair tends to stick to it, so you need to set it with powder to prevent this.   As someone with dry skin, I chose this essence cushion, and I'm thrilled it doesn't leave me looking shiny after application! I love how incredibly hydrating it is. I bought it during a promotion with the full-size product plus two refills, so I haven't repurchased yet, but I plan to when I run out. It doesn't cause any blemishes either! I have a slightly darker complexion, but shade 23 gives me a natural, brighter look that I really appreciate.

  Cons

  While it's marketed as a cover cushion, its coverage isn't exceptionally high. It does manage to conceal most imperfections on bare skin, though. If I had to nitpick, I'd say it can make the skin look a tad dewy.

  When I use this product, it gives my skin a subtle brightening effect. I bought it primarily for a natural look, and I'm very satisfied in that regard! As for coverage, I was fine with average, and I found that just one application provides decent coverage. It nicely conceals things like pores and acne scars.

  Cons

  It has some moisture to it, so after applying the cushion, there's a slight shine. It's very subtle, but it's not completely matte.

  The coverage and staying power seem to hit the mark. When I used it, it brightened my complexion by about half a shade, which I loved because it allowed for a very natural-looking skin!

  For those with dry skin, it might settle a bit around the nostrils and slightly emphasize pores!

  If you ensure a solid hydration base, the pore emphasis is definitely less noticeable. Still, if I were to repurchase, I'd probably go for a regular essence cushion rather than one focused on coverage.

  As the name suggests 'cover', this product was great for someone like me who prioritizes coverage. I've tried many cushion products, but this is the first one with such excellent coverage! It's also incredibly hydrating, perfect for achieving that dewy skin look I love. I stocked up during Missha's sale period! The longevity is good too. I rarely touch up my makeup, and as time passes, it fades beautifully. If I do need to touch up, it's usually just around the nose area. It naturally brightens, making it a fantastic product.

  Cons

  I wouldn't recommend this for those with oily skin. Unfortunately, it tends to come off quite easily, even with just a light touch.

  Tip

  For an even more hydrated skin look, try applying a moisturizer before using the cushion.

  It gives a natural glow and keeps the skin hydrated. Just dab it lightly with a puff several times, and it doesn't look heavy while providing decent coverage!

  Cons

  Even though it's moisturizing, it tends to clump on areas where dead skin cells haven't been properly managed.

  Tip

  I find it works even better if you spray some face mist on your skin and the puff before applying. It makes the application more hydrating and smoother!
