If you're just using it as an eyeshadow, that amount should be sufficient, but if you want to use it as a primer and base, that light layer is all you need to avoid affecting the texture and pigmentation of the eyeshadows on top.
The price is quite high, but the product quality is so good, and the generous amount means you don't need to use much at a time, so I'm overall satisfied. The key is making sure it doesn't dry out so you can use it for a long time.

I recommend this product to those who have pigmentation on their eyelids, eyeshadows that easily fade away, or want to use a base eyeshadow that is lighter in tone than their skin tone, as using it alone can make the look dull. I fall into all three categories.
While I haven't tried many eye primers, using this color seems to provide much better longevity and vibrancy compared to typical primers. The color is not too stark white compared to my skin tone, and since it's a cream eyeshadow rather than a primer, the pigmentation is really locked in, allowing the true color to show regardless of the eyeshadow shade used on top. Even eyeshadows that were previously sheer and dull can be somewhat salvaged with this as a base.

It's a bit drying due to the thick texture. Since I'm sensitive to dryness around the eyes, I need to make sure to keep that area well-moisturized when using this product.

The makeup artist recommended the MAC Mineralize Eyeshadow to me when I mentioned my struggle with eyeshadow application due to the darkness around my eyes. It definitely applies well! However, it's much thicker than expected, so I have to warm it up with my fingers before applying.

Hmm.. they said it dries well, but mine hasn't hardened yet. I wish they would just sell it in a smaller size and lower the price. I'm worried it might harden.

I'm using it as a base primer. It's good for the eye area and helps with the longevity of eyeshadow.

When trying to apply it with a brush, the brush bristles just fall out and it doesn't apply well. Gently melting it with your fingertips and then applying is the best way.
Storing it upside down helps it dry out a little less.

The eyeshadow sets immediately upon application, making blending a real struggle. However, over time, it naturally loosens up due to my tears, so it ends up being just fine.

I love this so much! The color is bright, so I'm just using it as an eye primer. For those with slightly darker skin or who want to add a bit more shadow, I'd recommend the Laying Low shade, but the Paint Pot series in general seems to work great as a primer. When I apply this and then put a powder-type eyeshadow on top, the staying power is just amazing.

It's a pot type, so I have to apply it with my fingers, which is a bit disappointing. And it has a bit of weight to it. I wish it came in a stick form instead, as that would be easier to apply and feel lighter.

The oily double eyelids always caused my eye makeup to crease within a few hours, whether it was summer or winter. But with this product, my shimmery eye makeup can last for over 6 hours without any creasing! Plus, the jumbo size means I can buy it cheaply from overseas or duty-free shops and use it for a long time^^

Since this is a cream and in a jar form... I'm always worried it will dry out ㅠㅠ You have to make sure to close it tightly. The amount is also a lot, and it shouldn't dry out and crack before you finish using it ㅠㅠ You can apply it with your fingers or a concealer brush. I mainly use my fingers.

I'm using this as a primer substitute. It applies smoothly, adheres well, and has a powdery finish... It's the first thing I put on my oily eyelids, which are always creasing. On days when I feel I have extra oil, I apply powder first and then this on top. It really lasts all day...!!
