Because it's so thick, it can be a bit drying. Since I'm prone to dryness and sensitivity around my eyes, I make sure to moisturize the area well before applying this.

I mentioned my struggle with eyeshadow not showing up well due to darkness around my eyes, and the MAC sister recommended this! It definitely enhances color payoff! However, it's surprisingly thick, so you'll need to warm it up between your fingers before applying.
