While I don't have acne-prone skin, I loved how gently it removed my makeup. It's perfect as a daily cleanser that you can use every single day. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it, but since it's a product I use daily, I wish it came in a larger size. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 20, 2019
Great cleansing effectiveness and it's so gentle that I can use it around my mouth and eyes without any tingling sensation. I'm definitely considering repurchasing! I honestly can't think of any downsides. It's not irritating at all and the overall experience was really pleasant! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinJan 9, 2019
I liked the foaming action, and it's great at removing eye makeup and mascara. After using this, my skin went crazy with breakouts. I was shocked but kept using it, not realizing it was the cause. I have super sensitive skin, and instead of blemish care, it made my face red and inflamed, increased blemishes, and caused tiny bumps. Checking the ingredients, I realized they're really... I'm so sensitive that I use mild acid foam cleansers and simple toners. If you're sensitive like me, be very careful with this product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 4, 2018
The cleansing effectiveness is decent, and while it doesn't eliminate existing blemishes, it doesn't cause new ones either, which is its best feature. It's a safe choice, so there's nothing particularly disappointing about it. However, don't expect it to get rid of blemishes just because it's called 'control care'. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 22, 2018
As someone with combination skin, I've made the switch from Pond's Lip & Eye Remover and point cleansing tissues to Bifesta Cleansing Water for blemish-prone skin. Let me tell you, it's been a game-changer! First off, the 'user experience' is fantastic. Being formulated for blemishes, it instantly earned my trust. It removes makeup more refreshingly and lightly than cleansing oils. Secondly, and most importantly, it doesn't cause any blemishes. There were times when I'd only use lip and eye remover with cleansing water, skipping my foam cleanser before bed. With other products, this would lead to blemishes and skin sensitivity, but not with this cleansing water! It's amazing - not a single blemish in sight! The 'price' isn't exactly budget-friendly. I usually pump about 7 times for each cleanse, and compared to cleansing tissues, you need cotton pads too, so it's not really cost-effective. The biggest downside is the inconvenience factor. Unlike cleansing tissues, you have to pump the product onto a cotton pad, wipe, and dispose - it's a whole process. Also, I thought the ingredients would be gentler, but after checking Hwahae, I was surprised to find that's not entirely the case. Still, since my skin hasn't had any adverse reactions, I plan to continue using it for now. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 16, 2018
I've been using Bifesta Cleansing Water for three years now! (That means I've emptied quite a few bottles.) I often stock up when it's on sale for 9900 won at Olive Young. It gently removes makeup really well. I can't think of any particular downsides! If I had to mention something, maybe the scent isn't that great? (I've used it for three years without any blemishes appearing... so it's been gentle and suitable for my skin.) I use Bifesta Cleansing Water as my first cleanse, followed by a cleansing foam as my second step! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 27, 2018
First off, the cleansing effectiveness is great. I'm really satisfied with that. Even after wiping with a cotton pad and letting some time pass, my skin still feels hydrated. I used this for blemish care, but I felt uneasy when I saw that the ingredients list included some components that could potentially cause blemishes. I haven't experienced any severe breakouts yet, but I'll need to keep an eye on it for a while longer. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 17, 2018
It doesn't cause any blemishes. It thoroughly cleanses, removing all traces of makeup. It's neither irritating nor drying for my skin. Sometimes when I'm too lazy to wash my face, I just use this and go to sleep without rinsing, and I've never had any skin issues. It doesn't cause dryness; instead, it gives my skin a nice glow. I've lost count of how many bottles I've used - it's become as routine as eating meals. In terms of price and performance, it's a total win. This cleansing water has become my holy grail. They often have buy-one-get-one-free or discount promotions, so it's impossible to buy it at full price. I always stock up during sales. Don't skimp on cotton pads or the cleansing water. Use at least 2-3 well-soaked cotton pads. Don't expect too much from the cleansing water alone; use a separate eye and lip remover. After using a makeup remover, finish with this for a thorough cleanse. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 11, 2018
I loved how well it removed my makeup. Just a few swipes and everything came off effortlessly. The formula might be a bit too strong. While it removed makeup effectively, my skin felt a bit of a tingling sensation after cleansing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 8, 2017
It cleanses thoroughly. After cleansing with a cotton pad, my skin is moisturized enough that I don't need to wash with water. And while using this product, I've never had any breakouts from the cleansing water. Sometimes after cleansing lip products, the product ends up in my mouth, and it tastes really bad!! Be careful, everyone. And some long-lasting waterproof mascaras don't come off easily, so I have to use a separate lip and eye makeup remover.
