While I don't have acne-prone skin, I loved how gently it removed my makeup. It's perfect as a daily cleanser that you can use every single day. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it, but since it's a product I use daily, I wish it came in a larger size. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 31, 2020
It removes makeup well... And it seems gentle enough, so I'm using it comfortably... Plus, even if it accidentally gets in my eyes, it doesn't hurt. To be honest, I bought it because it claimed to help with blemishes, but I was skeptical. As I suspected, it doesn't seem to do much for blemish care... Also, the scent isn't particularly pleasant. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 12, 2019
I'm currently using this cleansing water, and surprisingly, it cleanses quite well despite being a water-based formula. It's so gentle that I haven't experienced any blemishes. I used to use The Saem's cleansing water, but it didn't cleanse as effectively. While it didn't cause many blemishes, it wasn't great either. I spotted this one on sale at Olive Young for just 10,000 won, so I decided to give it a try. It turns out to be a perfect match for my skin, and I've been using it ever since. I think I'll stick with this product from now on. I can't believe I've only just discovered this brand! Drawbacks... there aren't really any. Oh, it would be nice if they came out with a larger size, but I guess that's unlikely...? - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 21, 2018
I'm so proud of myself for discovering Bifesta, and it's a product that makes me wish I'd found it sooner. I first learned about Bifesta through their cleansing sheets, which I loved for being large, soft, and gentle. I used them constantly, but they ran out quickly. Then I discovered their water-based product and switched to it. Wow... it was a game-changer! The cleansing is gentle yet thorough. Usually, I get redness from cleansing waters, but not with this one. It's great for blemish-prone skin, working well for both my super sensitive skin and my sister's very oily complexion. I've lost count of how many bottles we've gone through. On days when I need a deep cleanse, I use this product followed by a cleansing oil. When my eye makeup isn't heavy, I can just use this product alone and finish with a water rinse without any skin issues. It's amazing! If you're considering a cleansing water, you absolutely must try this one. It's not really a downside, more of a product characteristic, but it leaves the skin feeling ever so slightly dry after use. I've tried the Moist version too, which is more hydrating, but my sister found it made her skin oily. This version doesn't have that issue. If I had to nitpick another drawback, it might be the somewhat... dated design? I love decorating my vanity, but I always end up keeping this product in a drawer. If there's a con, that would be it. When using this product, the choice of cotton pad is crucial. I use low-irritation pads, saturate them well, gently press onto the skin, then sweep away. It's effective enough without needing to rub hard, so you shouldn't worry about skin irritation. It's also great for cleansing on days with high pollution levels. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 30, 2018
It's incredibly gentle and refreshing without any stickiness. I've tried Avène and other cleansing waters, but I always come back to this one. The instructions say no rinsing is needed, but I still feel a bit uneasy about that, so I always follow up with a proper cleanse. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 24, 2018
It's great that this effectively removes mascara fixers and doesn't irritate the eyelids much It stings quite a bit if it gets in your eyes, making it uncomfortable to clean the eye area - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 16, 2018
I've been using Bifesta Cleansing Water for three years now! (That means I've emptied quite a few bottles.) I often stock up when it's on sale for 9900 won at Olive Young. It gently removes makeup really well. I can't think of any particular downsides! If I had to mention something, maybe the scent isn't that great? (I've used it for three years without any blemishes appearing... so it's been gentle and suitable for my skin.) I use Bifesta Cleansing Water as my first cleanse, followed by a cleansing foam as my second step! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinJun 26, 2018
It removes makeup well without irritation. Bifesta is known for its strong cleansing power, so I've been using it consistently. While it's labeled as 'Control Care', it doesn't seem to fully address acne concerns. Looking at it now, I'm a bit disappointed with the ingredients. There are quite a few potentially problematic components - I count seven of them. Even if you're using a cleansing water, make sure to use a separate point makeup remover for thorough cleansing! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 17, 2018
It doesn't cause any blemishes. It thoroughly cleanses, removing all traces of makeup. It's neither irritating nor drying for my skin. Sometimes when I'm too lazy to wash my face, I just use this and go to sleep without rinsing, and I've never had any skin issues. It doesn't cause dryness; instead, it gives my skin a nice glow. I've lost count of how many bottles I've used - it's become as routine as eating meals. In terms of price and performance, it's a total win. This cleansing water has become my holy grail. They often have buy-one-get-one-free or discount promotions, so it's impossible to buy it at full price. I always stock up during sales. Don't skimp on cotton pads or the cleansing water. Use at least 2-3 well-soaked cotton pads. Don't expect too much from the cleansing water alone; use a separate eye and lip remover. After using a makeup remover, finish with this for a thorough cleanse. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 16, 2018
As someone with combination, blemish-prone sensitive skin, I found this incredibly gentle when applied with a cotton pad. It removed makeup effectively and left my skin feeling hydrated! Being a water-based formula, I can't help but feel it doesn't provide as thorough a cleanse as I'd like.
