It wasn't too coral or overly vibrant, which I found very satisfying.
ConsAs expected from NARS lip pencils, but I found it disappointing that this product requires another lip base for application. It's a bit too matte for my liking.
TipFor those with warm complexions, try pairing this lip color with a subtle coral blush instead of a pink one. It creates a more balanced look without being overwhelming.

It's become my absolute must-have. I never liked the glossy feel of tints, but this matte product adheres to my lips so perfectly - I love it! Just be sure to exfoliate well, as it might emphasize dead skin cells more due to its matte nature. Cruella isn't your typical bright red like MAC Ruby Woo or Russian Red. It's a bit more muted and darker, which could easily look unflattering if not applied well. However, Cruella has this sophisticated edge that elevates the look. I'm already on my second one! While NARS also has Red Square, known as the warm-toned champion in their lip line, I personally find Cruella more flattering and use it constantly.
ConsSince it's a lip pencil, you need to sharpen it with a sharpener. Every time I do, I feel a pang of regret as both the outer layer and a good chunk of the product get shaved away...

Instead of applying it all over my lips every time, I sometimes dab a small amount on the inner part of my lips and blend it with lip balm or gloss. This creates a natural, diffused color that's perfect for everyday wear. I'll definitely repurchase!
ConsWhen worn alone, it tends to make lip dead skin cells slightly noticeable after some time.
