  Pros

  The ingredients are amazing! At first, I used it instead of a cleansing foam, and it was fantastic! It didn't irritate my skin at all, prevented blemishes, and cleansed thoroughly. Plus, it left my skin feeling hydrated. You can even use it as shampoo, which I've been doing recently. Compared to other organic shampoos, the Alaffia African Soap makes hair much softer and produces way more lather. I highly recommend it! There are various scents available, but since they're not artificial, they're gentle and fade quickly. (I started with eucalyptus tea tree, but now I'm using lavender after finishing that one.) I bought the largest size (950ml) in the US for just $8.99 - that's less than $10! It's a great gift for lazy boyfriends too. It's truly an all-purpose product, from head to toe!

  Cons

  There's honestly nothing to complain about! The only slight inconvenience is that the large size doesn't come with a pump dispenser. Also, when used as shampoo, the scent doesn't linger as long as chemical shampoos, so you won't have that lasting fragrance.

  Tip

  It's a multi-purpose soap that can be used on your whole body! I especially recommend it as a shampoo! If you find your hair feels a bit stiff after shampooing or if you're concerned about the scent, just rinse with a bit of conditioner at the ends and it's perfect! It leaves absolutely no oily residue.
