The scent is pleasant and it's generally good. The ingredients are great, and I'm satisfied with continued use. It might feel a bit thick at first, but it gets better as you keep using it. Unfortunately, this product has been discontinued, so I had to buy something else. - bl*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 21, 2018
It's a gentle product that the whole family can use, even with children It's too runny, so a lot gets wasted, especially when the kids use it - yd*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 3, 2018
- Relatively gentle ingredients While lauramidopropyl betaine isn't fully researched, it's considered safer than cocamidopropyl betaine as no major side effects like allergies have been reported. (Seems safer compared to ingredients in typical shampoos) - Effective for oily scalps I have an oily scalp prone to greasiness and acne near the back of my head. After using this shampoo, I've noticed a significant reduction in acne and scalp oil. - Fresh scent without artificial fragrances I appreciate that they've created a refreshing scent using natural oils. However, those with sensitive skin should be cautious. The zesty aroma is only present while washing and disappears after rinsing. - Lathers well Unlike many 'clean' shampoos that don't foam much, this one produces a good lather - Hair texture? It seems to strip oils so effectively that it can leave the scalp feeling a bit dry and rough. For me, it's fine in summer when I sweat a lot, but women might need extra hair care. - Shampoo fragrance The lack of artificial fragrances means it doesn't mask hair odor well, which is disappointing. For important occasions, I use a light Sidmool hair mist. The Sidmool mist is very lightweight and seems suitable for oily scalps. To ensure thorough cleansing, I leave the shampoo lather on my hair while I wash my body with body wash, then rinse everything off together. This prevents inadequate cleansing from rinsing too quickly. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 1, 2018
I've consistently purchased and used this product due to its gentle ingredients. I feel like it's making my hair stronger and healthier. After use, my hair feels a bit stiff. A conditioner is absolutely necessary. - ch**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 16, 2018
(Will repurchase) The biggest advantage is the price. I went grocery shopping with my mom to get a summer shampoo, intending to buy one at Olive Young. But we ended up finding this at Orga Whole Foods where we were shopping. The price made me double-check if there wasn't a digit missing in front. The cleansing effectiveness is decent. I previously used the shampoo endorsed by Kang Daniel, falling for his face in the ad. But after trying it, I questioned its cleansing power and price. As winter passed and summer arrived, no matter how much I washed, it felt like I'd over-conditioned. So I switched, and this one's great - no oily buildup (I have a dry scalp). It lathers well, which is nice. The scent is that typical 'healthy scalp' smell you often find. It's a bit thick and the lack of fragrance is slightly disappointing. But since it's better not to have added fragrances, I can live with that and keep using it. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedJun 14, 2018
There's no harsh fragrance, and I've definitely noticed less hair fall since I started using this shampoo. My hair felt a bit stiff at first, and I was used to shampoos with stronger surfactants, so the minimal lather was initially uncomfortable. But I've come to realize that's actually a good thing. Try adding a few drops of vinegar to your final rinse. It helps reduce the stiffness. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 12, 2018
I love that it's free of harmful ingredients, so I can use it with my child. The cool herbal scent is refreshing, and it lathers up better than I expected. It feels quite tight after rinsing, but you get used to it after a while. - yi*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 27, 2018
1. Great ingredients and gentle formula I have oily skin, which means my scalp is also oily. If I don't wash my hair for a day, it becomes noticeable and tends to get greasy. I used to use any shampoo like Mise-en-Scene or Kerasys, but at some point, I started getting blemishes on my scalp occasionally! So I decided I needed to choose a shampoo with good ingredients and a gentle, slightly acidic formula, just like I would for a facial cleanser. That's when I got this product recommended to me. The main advantage is that it's sulfate-free and has overall good, gentle ingredients! 2. Price If you're a member of Jayeon Dream, you can get it for around $5, but since I only bought the shampoo without other items, I paid about $8. Even considering this, I think it's good value for money. 1. Doesn't lather well Unlike other sulfate-containing shampoos that lather easily, this one doesn't produce much foam. While lots of foam doesn't necessarily mean it's better, the lack of lather makes me unsure if my scalp is getting properly cleansed. There was a day when I couldn't wash my hair, and the next day after using this shampoo and drying my hair, it felt like my scalp wasn't properly cleaned. My scalp still felt oily... The cleansing effectiveness seems too weak for me. It might be fine if you wash your hair twice daily, but if you ever need to skip a day, this might not be suitable. If you have severe seborrheic dermatitis, it might be best to use this shampoo daily. Alternatively, you could consider alternating between this and another shampoo as a possible solution. - 36******Normal SkinRecommendedMay 26, 2018
1. It's reassuring to know there are no harmful ingredients. 2. No blemishes at all... so far... (from someone with normal skin) 3. Excellent value for the ingredients 1. It's a bit of a hassle to purchase. 2. Perhaps because it's free of harmful ingredients, it doesn't have a particularly pleasant scent. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinApr 22, 2018
Great value for oily hair types! I switched from Black Velvet and noticed less itching. Even when my scalp feels dry, it rinses out easily with water, leaving it soft. The ingredients are good too. It produces too much lather. Also, I'm not a fan of the plastic packaging used for product labeling.
