The product packaging is absolutely stunning. True to NARS style, it has a clean and luxurious look. The application is smooth, and the color itself is beautiful, but... As someone with a warm complexion, this really doesn't suit me. It actually makes my skin tone appear darker and dull. I'd recommend this for those with cool undertones instead. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 22, 2020
The texture feels moisturizing when applied and absorbs well into the skin The product leaks excessively from the opening... It makes me nervous about carrying it around - lu*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 21, 2019
As someone who doesn't suit red shades well (I still haven't found the right one), I really like this! It's a great MLBB (My Lips But Better) color that I wear often. It's not sticky at all, so I use it daily. It's perfect for everyday makeup, especially in fall and winter. It does wear off a bit easily. Other than that, I don't have any complaints. If you find it applies too light, try using a red tint as a base first - it looks even more beautiful that way! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 23, 2019
Texture: Moisturizing Color: A versatile shade perfect for daily use - I wear it every day! Packaging: So pretty, I love carrying it around The product tends to leak a bit when you open the cap The shade might appear a bit dull for some If you have fair skin, opt for a lighter pink shade Great for mixing with other products Blends beautifully with bold reds like Armani's vibrant lip colors that you might hesitate to wear alone Creates a gorgeous gradient effect when mixed Transforms ambiguous shades into warm-tone favorites Useful for toning down other pink-based products - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 7, 2019
It's perfect for cool undertones. I bought it when I thought I had a cool complexion. First off, it's great for winter use. It's moisturizing and rich, so it doesn't accentuate dead skin cells. The packaging is absolutely fantastic. It's thin and sleek, making it easy to line your lips precisely. This is strictly for cool undertones. Don't even think about buying it if you have a different skin tone. It made me look like a completely different person! The only downside? The price tag is a bit steep, which is unfortunate. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMay 20, 2019
This is one of the products I always carry with me. Since my lips tend to get dry, I find myself reaching for this type of product. The color is naturally beautiful. My lips usually look pale, but when I apply this, it looks natural even on a bare face. Personally, I'm not a fan of having to dip the applicator back into the product since it's for the lips. Also, it becomes matte over time, so you need to reapply frequently. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedFeb 13, 2019
It applies as smoothly as velvet and the color is beautiful. When it comes to color cosmetics, NARS really seems to know their stuff. The price is a bit steep and it tends to fade easily. You'll need to reapply throughout the day. It looks lovely when applied over a light lipstick too. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 17, 2018
The packaging is beautiful and the color is unique and pretty, not something you see every day I'm usually satisfied with NARS products, but this one is such a disappointment... They claimed it had a velvet texture, but it's more like a lip gloss. It makes my lips feel extremely dry, almost to the point of cracking - gj********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinOct 21, 2017
As someone with a summer cool tone, this color didn't suit me at all. It made me look dull and pale. I hope others don't make the same mistake I did, buying based solely on online reviews and swatches. This experience reminded me that to avoid regrets, it's best to try lip products in person before purchasing. While not quite as drying as the NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment, this product is still considerably dehydrating. To minimize dryness, apply lip balm as a base before using this product. If NARS Walk This Way has an orange undertone, Bound has a pink hue with a hint of purple (cool undertones). Both these shades tend to complement warm-toned individuals better. In the image, Bound is on the left and Walk This Way is on the right. Since lip swatches can be misleading due to differences in natural lip color and variations in camera and screen display, I've provided swatches on white tissue for a more accurate color representation. - no****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 6, 2017
I absolutely adore this shade with its light undertone. While I'm not sure if it's a perfect match, it certainly doesn't look out of place and suits me quite well. I bought it because I'm fond of these types of colors. The shade is truly elegant and sophisticated. When I feel like my complexion needs a boost, I apply this all over and then add a tint on top for a healthy flush. Unfortunately, this lipstick always ends up on my teeth (especially the front ones). It's strange because I don't have protruding teeth, and this doesn't happen with other lip products. It's a constant issue with this one. When eating, it transfers onto utensils... it's almost like eating ice cream! I think it's because the formula doesn't adhere well to the lips and feels slippery. To combat this, I gently blot the inner part of my lips with a tissue or cotton pad after application. On days when I wear this, I find myself constantly checking the mirror and feeling self-conscious about smiling. I really wish they could improve the formula, perhaps with a coating effect. Additionally, the staying power is weak. It looks great for a while after application, but over time it settles into fine lines and seems to fade away. It's as if it's evaporating into thin air. It's essential to lightly blot the inner part of your lips with a tissue or cotton pad after application.
