  Pros

  It's truly basic, as the name suggests. It contains colors you can use daily without any burden. There's not a single shimmer, and the pigmentation is really good. The color combination is great for layering too. No excess powder fallout. If you tap off the excess after loading your brush, it won't drop on your face. It's composed of easy-to-wear colors, which is nice. All the shades are subtle and pretty.

  Cons

  The amount is ridiculously large, so it gets a bit tiresome. I wonder when I'll ever use it all up... It doesn't seem to decrease either. The built-in brush isn't great in my opinion... I bought it for around 42,000 won during a sale, so I didn't feel burdened by the price, but paying full price might be a bit much...

  Tip

  Use the black shade in this palette as an eyeliner. Spray some mist on your brush and use it damp to draw a line or fill in between your lashes - it works really well. Even when applied wet as an eyeliner, it barely smudges or fades. When I apply it this way, it stays put for a good 10 hours, just like when first applied.

  Pros

  I was surprised by how little excess powder there was when using a brush. The built-in brush was better than I expected, and the color payoff was actually better with the brush than with fingers.

  Cons

  There's some patchiness typical of matte formulas, especially with darker shades. I can't really see a compelling reason to use this product.

  Pros

  There's hardly any excess powder fallout, which is impressive. Especially with dark shades like Black Jack - many shadows tend to crumble and fall, but not this one. The colors are versatile, and the packaging is quite attractive!

  Cons

  I used it with a primer, but by afternoon my eyes felt somewhat heavy. Not a major issue though.
