I have dry skin, shade 23 Dark circles + freckles Love all things pink! Personal color: deep undertone light I prefer that dewy-inside, matte-outside look +Pigmentation The Naked palette's pigmentation is off the charts! It's famous for a reason. Perfect for everyday use. The colors show up true to pan. +Longevity The staying power is top-notch! With this product, I don't need to touch up my eye makeup during the day. It lasts from morning commute to evening return. -Brush The included brush isn't terrible, but I prefer using a different one. It works much better for me. I use Real Techniques brushes. Recommended for those with a deep undertone personal color. The top row, first 3 from the left The bottom row, first 4 from the left These are said to be the perfect match. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 2, 2019
Not a single shade to discard. The first row's pink-gray-brown toned shadows are especially outstanding. The brown-toned shades are also great, not being overly warm. I find myself reaching for the first row often, but it looks quite similar to Naked2 Basics. I might have been fine just buying that one. - sa******Combination SkinRecommendedFeb 12, 2019
It's truly basic, as the name suggests. It contains colors you can use daily without any burden. There's not a single shimmer, and the pigmentation is really good. The color combination is great for layering too. No excess powder fallout. If you tap off the excess after loading your brush, it won't drop on your face. It's composed of easy-to-wear colors, which is nice. All the shades are subtle and pretty. The amount is ridiculously large, so it gets a bit tiresome. I wonder when I'll ever use it all up... It doesn't seem to decrease either. The built-in brush isn't great in my opinion... I bought it for around 42,000 won during a sale, so I didn't feel burdened by the price, but paying full price might be a bit much... Use the black shade in this palette as an eyeliner. Spray some mist on your brush and use it damp to draw a line or fill in between your lashes - it works really well. Even when applied wet as an eyeliner, it barely smudges or fades. When I apply it this way, it stays put for a good 10 hours, just like when first applied. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 9, 2018
This is truly all you need for your daily makeup routine! It's so beautiful and the brush is pretty decent too. I absolutely highly recommend it! The design is also fantastic. Well... there's a bit of excess powder when using the brush. It's a shame there's no shimmer in it. And I must say, the price is a bit on the higher side. I got it with a great deal at the Shilla Duty Free shop, so I snagged it at a really good price! Stock up when you're traveling, it's much cheaper! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMay 18, 2018
The color range is diverse and suits various complexions, living up to its 'Basic' name, which I found satisfying. The case is quite luxurious. Color payoff is decent. Staying power is so-so... It's too large to carry around conveniently. Some shades are not suitable for everyday basic use. - Hwahae UserOily SkinMar 16, 2018
The color payoff is fantastic. It has a great range of essential base shades. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous, truly beautiful. Due to its high pigmentation, it's easy to overdo it and end up with heavy makeup. There was also a bit of excess powder fallout. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSep 9, 2017
The basic shades in this palette are perfect for everyday office wear, while also versatile enough for exciting outings or when you want to create a more dramatic evening look. It's one palette that adapts to various situations. I find it particularly suitable for fall and winter use. The pigmentation is so intense that if you're not careful with the amount you apply, it could lead to a makeup disaster. - ba******Combination SkinAcne SkinMay 19, 2017
I currently own the Naked and Naked 3 palettes, and I recently bought this product. The Naked palettes have great colors, but there was just one thing missing - a lack of matte shades. That's why it's such good news that this Ultimate Basics palette is composed entirely of matte colors! As someone with monolids, using too much shimmer can make me look tacky, so I'm really satisfied with this product. I'm using all the colors, and there's not a single shade I'd want to toss out. There's quite a bit of fallout... After applying foundation, if you do your eye makeup, you'll find a pile of powder settled on your cheekbones. Plus, because it's matte, it's hard to wipe off. Even brushing it away just spreads the powder that's stuck to your face. The staying power is a bit disappointing compared to other Naked series palettes. Using an eye makeup primer does improve longevity, but it makes blending much more difficult. So I end up skipping the primer since it's better to achieve good blending. The case looks a bit cheap... It's made of lightweight plastic. If you drop it once, it's game over - it'll probably shatter completely. Yikes! I recommend doing your eye makeup before your base makeup. If you do your base first and then your eyes, there's a lot of fallout, and it doesn't come off easily. If you try to apply more makeup over it, it can end up looking thick and messy. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 12, 2017
There are many shades that can add depth to monolid eyes. The colors are beautiful. I've been a fan of Urban Decay because I feel their products have great staying power. It's disappointing to see that Hwahae lists some unfavorable ingredients. I'm torn between keeping or tossing the one I have right in front of me. I bought a Wake Make product a few months ago and have been using it. It also has excellent staying power. I think I'll completely switch over to this brand. Exciting! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinMay 2, 2017
A palette containing 12 eyeshadows - 1 shimmery shade and 11 matte shades. Snagged it for $40 through international shipping! 1. A holy grail for those with monolids like me. The matte, nude, and neutral shades are essential for monolid beauties, and the color selection is on point. The unique shimmery shade 'BLOW' can create a brightening effect in the inner corners or serve as a brow bone highlight, making this palette a one-stop-shop for eye makeup. It's satisfying to have a palette that covers everything from daily looks to smoky eyes - how many can truly do it all? 2. Excellent pigmentation and blendability The colors apply true to pan on both the eyelid and crease, and they blend seamlessly, making gradients stress-free. It's absolutely fantastic! 3. Dual-ended brush included, decently sized mirror At this price point, these features are expected and appreciated. • Short, flat, firm brush: Perfect for precise application and smudging • Longer, fluffy flat brush: Ideal for applying color to larger areas and blending - The price is jaw-dropping! - The longer bristles on the dual-ended brush don't blend as well as expected. Perhaps because it's flat rather than cylindrical and fluffy, you might need to use a separate blending brush. • PRE-GAME and NUDIE shades work great as eyeshadow bases. • For a smoky eye, try mixing and matching LETHAL or BLACKJACK with other shades.
