The naked palette has really nice colors, but there's one thing! I was disappointed that there was a lack of matte shades, but this ultimate basic palette is great news as it's composed of all matte shades! As I have monolids, I don't like to use too much shimmer as it can look tacky, so this product is really satisfactory for me. I use all the shades. There's not a single dud.
ConsThe powder falls off quite a bit... After doing my base makeup and then eye makeup, there's a layer of powder that accumulates on my cheekbones. On top of that, since it's matte, it's difficult to wipe off and even when I sweep it away with a brush, the powder that's stuck to my face just spreads even more.. The longevity is a bit disappointing compared to the other Naked series.. Using an eye makeup primer does improve the longevity. But then it becomes really difficult to blend, so I end up not using the primer, as it's better to just focus on good blending. The case looks a bit cheap.. It's made of lightweight plastic. If you drop it once, it's game over.. it'll all shatter.. yikes.
TipI recommend doing your base makeup (foundation) first, and then your eye makeup. If you do your eye makeup first and then your base, the powder will fall off heavily and won't come off easily, and if you try to layer more makeup on top, it'll end up looking cakey and not clean.

The built-in brush was also better than expected, and the color payoff was better with the brush than with my fingers.
ConsThe typical unevenness of matte eyeshadows becomes more noticeable the more pigmented the color is. I'm not sure why I would need to use this particular product.
