  I tried this cleansing emulsion after my dermatologist recommended it for oily skin, and it's been great! It's gentle with no irritation, affordable, and practically fragrance-free, so it doesn't feel off-putting at all. I'd never used a cleansing emulsion before, and it's not a common product among my friends, so I was worried about how well it would remove makeup. But it cleanses effectively, making it a product I use regularly now.

  Cons

  After cleansing and rinsing with water, it feels like there's some kind of oily or greasy film left on my skin, which makes me want to follow up with a light cleansing foam. While the portable size is convenient for travel, I wish they offered a larger volume for home use. The current size feels a bit small for daily cleansing at home.

  Pros

  My face doesn't feel overly dry after cleansing, and it removes makeup reasonably well, which I find satisfying.

  Cons

  On days with heavy makeup, if I don't do a second cleanse, I often find mascara still lingering on my lashes.

  Tip

  Instead of using oil, I use this for my first cleanse, followed by a gentle wash with soap. This routine works well for me.

  Pros

  As someone with sensitive skin and particular about product ingredients, this is the only cleansing emulsion I use. It's excellent for removing makeup. True to its emulsion type, it glides on the skin smoothly during cleansing massage. Best of all, it doesn't irritate my skin.

  Cons

  The scent is a bit disappointing. It's not quite unscented as claimed, which is a bit ambiguous.

  Tip

  For my routine, I first do a thorough cleansing massage with this emulsion. Then, I follow up with a cleansing water. Finally, I finish with a foam cleanser and I'm done!

  Pros

  It effectively removes light makeup and mineral sunscreen without being harsh. I appreciated that it's fragrance-free, and my skin doesn't feel dry after use.

  Cons

  Well... I kept getting blemishes, so I tried wiping my forehead with a cotton pad soaked in toner. To my surprise, it picked up leftover base makeup. Since then, I've been extra careful with cleansing when using this product. I've decided to buy a separate cleansing oil and use this for daily cleansing instead.

  It's gentle and quite effective at removing mascara and eyeliner.

  Cons

  It struggles to remove all makeup. I bought this as a gentle emulsion for the first step of my cleansing routine, but while it is indeed gentle, its cleansing effectiveness is significantly lacking. You'd need to cleanse three times to completely remove makeup, which defeats the purpose of a first-step cleanser. It makes me wonder if it's even worth using. I think it might be better to just wash twice with a cleansing foam instead!

  Pros

  I was contemplating which cleansing product to buy - water, oil, wipes, or emulsion - since I use sunblock. Luckily, I discovered that Innisfree's The Minimum line offers a cleansing emulsion, so I quickly purchased it. You can gently roll it on your face, and while I'm not sure about makeup bases as I don't use them, it effectively dissolves sunscreen. The cleansing effectiveness is quite good. It doesn't leave my skin feeling squeaky clean, and I followed up with The Minimum Facial Cleanser for a second cleanse.

  Cons

  As for downsides... well, I can't really think of any. I find the price quite reasonable for a cleansing emulsion, and you can get it even cheaper during sales. Plus, since it effectively dissolves sunblock products, I found its cleansing effectiveness to be quite satisfactory.

  Pros

  I stumbled upon this gentle cleansing foam while searching for one with clean ingredients, and luckily it was on sale. I don't usually wear heavy makeup, so I'm not sure if that's why, but it removes makeup well without irritation. It's great for my combination skin. I used to get blemishes from continually using cleansing oils, but switching to this cleansing emulsion was definitely the right choice.

  It's a bit disappointing that it's only 90ml... Cleansing products run out so quickly. I'll have to stock up on a few when they're on sale next time.
