It's a low pH shampoo that lathers well and has a pleasant scent, which is why I've been using it for a long time. I wasn't aware that it contains ingredients I should be cautious about, and that aspect worries me now. - pr*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 17, 2023
It seems to make my hair feel softer. That's the only positive thing I can say. I used it for about two weeks. The scent is just like a generic supermarket shampoo. Since it's a hair shampoo, I guess that's why I got so many blemishes on my scalp... painful, pus-filled bumps that hurt when touched. I absolutely won't be repurchasing this. - ai*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 30, 2021
Of all the shampoos I've used, this one stands out. Sometimes I'm too lazy to use conditioner after washing, but with this, my hair doesn't become stiff, which is great. While it's good overall, I'm a bit disappointed with the ingredients. Occasionally, I get some minor breakouts on the back of my neck. It's not severe, but it's still a bit concerning. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 9, 2021
This shampoo lathers up really well. I used it along with a treatment from another line, and my hair texture has improved so much - I'm thrilled! My hair used to be like a broom, but now I highly recommend this product. After checking on Hwahae, I found out it contains three harmful ingredients. While I really like it, that's a bit disappointing. If you use the shampoo, treatment, and conditioner from the same line, your hair texture will improve dramatically. The conditioner apparently acts as a coating. Make sure to try it out - it's great! - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedMar 17, 2021
While my long hair always shed quite a bit, I never had itching or dead skin cells - it was in a healthy state. However, after giving birth, I experienced more hair loss, itching, and when I scratched, a lot of flakes appeared, which was stressful. Fortunately, I stumbled upon this product, and compared to other shampoos, it seems to have significantly reduced the itching and flaking, which I'm really happy about. I haven't used it long enough to find any disappointing aspects or drawbacks yet. However, I do feel the ingredients list could be a bit better. - jh****Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessJan 25, 2021
Review after using a pouch sample once. I tried it out since they send free samples upon sign-up and the reviews were good. Texture: Standard translucent, viscous formula. Lather: Foams about as much as a regular shampoo. Not exceptionally foamy, but adequate enough to be comfortable. (After using sulfate-free, low pH, silicone-free shampoos that don't lather well for a long time, I thought this product's good lather while being low pH was a plus, but looking at the ingredients, it's not much different from regular shampoos, so it's not a huge advantage.) Scent: A sweet and tangy candy-like fragrance? I found it pleasant. Cleansing effectiveness: Seems to cleanse well? After washing, my scalp feels squeaky clean when rinsing. Those who enjoy that squeaky clean feeling might like this. Packaging: Unremarkable, not particularly attractive Hair texture: While the scalp feels clean, it also leaves the hair feeling stiff. (This is common with most shampoos though) Ingredients: It contains sodium laureth sulfate, which I've been trying to avoid in shampoos. Price: Considering that there are many low pH shampoos available these days, and this one doesn't seem particularly special in terms of ingredients or effects, the regular price seems too high for a shampoo. Scalp itching: I'm not sure if it didn't rinse out well or if it's because I only used it once, but I applied and rinsed it as usual, and within two days of washing with this line, my scalp was itchy in various spots, so I had to wash again. My usual products don't cause this level of irritation. Other: Although the three products are presented as one line, they all smell different and don't feel very cohesive. The only common points seem to be the packaging and that they're all low pH. In conclusion, I have no intention to purchase - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedAug 7, 2020
I used to use any random shampoo, but I bought this right away after a friend's recommendation and because I was intrigued by the term 'low pH'. I have long hair that I dye and perm monthly. The damaged ends used to stress me out whenever I touched them, and my boyfriend often touches my hair too. Brushing was also difficult. This shampoo is gentle with a mild, fresh scent! I can feel that my hair is no longer getting damaged. Well, I don't have any complaints at all! I've already purchased my second bottle. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 25, 2020
It lathers well and doesn't leave your hair feeling stiff after coloring I discovered it contains phenoxyethanol, so I stopped using it and gave it away - dn******Dry SkinRecommendedApr 10, 2020
First off, the scent was absolutely delightful. When I used regular shampoos, I struggled with severe scalp flaking and intense itching. Surprisingly, this product eliminated those issues completely, which I found both fascinating and wonderful. It's a bit disappointing that this pH-balanced shampoo is pricier compared to other regular shampoos on the market. - ye*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 29, 2020
It's just like a typical shampoo. It lathers well, smells nice, and improves hair texture. I think it's a solid, everyday shampoo that you can use without any issues. It might be particularly effective for damaged hair. It's so ordinary that I can't even find anything to complain about!
