  For the first two or three days, I felt like my skin was becoming brighter. The overall complexion really lightened up. Even though I frequently get laser treatments, I hadn't seen such noticeable brightening effects before. But with this, I could actually see how much my skin had brightened...

  Cons

  From the day I started using it, it was extremely tingling. I thought it might be because my skin is very dry, but I probably should have stopped then. This is truly the most irritating essence I've ever used. For the first time in 30 years, I experienced tiny bumps appearing on my skin... It seems this doesn't suit me. My skin texture was really smooth before, but now it's become rough.

  Tip

  It seems this should only be used by those with oily skin types. If you have dry skin, let's stick to products for dry skin.

  It seems to contain ingredients that give a bit of a glow to areas where I don't usually get acne. My skin texture appeared more refined and smoother.

  Cons

  I bought this after seeing an ad somewhere claiming it was effective for small bumps, but it seems it doesn't suit me at all. I even developed inflamed acne.

  It absorbs well, but it's way too pricey for the amount you get.

  Cons

  Just one day after using it, I started getting tiny pimples and all sorts of blemishes. At first, I thought it was a coincidence and kept using it, but things got worse. When I stopped, my skin issues started to clear up. I really can't recommend this product.

  After using it for about a week, I started getting blemishes one by one on my face. So I had to stop using it. If you have super sensitive skin, please test it before use!

  As a lucky winner of The Hwahae Testers, I found some great points while trying this product. The scent was pleasant, and the texture was moisturizing and absorbed well into my skin. When I applied it gently around my nose area, it helped remove dead skin cells and made my skin feel softer.

  Cons

  Unfortunately, on the first day, I experienced a tingling sensation immediately after applying it to my face. After washing it off, I noticed small bumps appearing! My sister also tried it and said it felt uncomfortable. It's disappointing that it didn't suit my skin. I'd especially advise avoiding areas with blemishes or inflammation. As a result, I've been applying it only to my nose area every other day.

  Pros

  The texture is like an emulsion and absorbs well, leaving a fresh finish. The scent was mild to me. When I first received it and used it for about 3-4 days, my makeup applied beautifully over it and I was completely satisfied! It seemed to make my pores less noticeable too. I think it's a really great serum for improving skin texture.

  Cons

  I'm not sure about its soothing effects, and it doesn't seem to help with minor redness. When applying, I felt a slight tingling sensation on areas with blemishes (it stings more after exfoliating). I already had folliculitis on my skin, and about a week into using this, I noticed a breakout on my chin. I thought maybe the folliculitis was flaring up again, but then a blemish appeared on my cheek too. The only change in my skincare routine was this serum. So now I'm only applying it to my nose area and pores.

  Tip

  Those with super sensitive skin might experience irritation and breakouts, so do a patch test before use! Rather than applying it daily, it might be better to use it once every 2-3 days.

  I received this product as an event prize and decided to give it a try. While I'm classified as having dry skin, I actually have combination skin leaning towards dry! I'm usually wary of new cosmetics due to my sensitive skin. Typically, my skin reacts immediately if a product doesn't suit me, but I was pleasantly surprised when I applied this for the first time. I continued using it morning and night for about three days. Initially, I was quite satisfied as it seemed to reduce redness and minimize my pores. The texture is similar to an ointment, and while the fragrance isn't unpleasant, it does smell a bit artificial.

  Although it seemed fine on the first day, I continued using it for about three days. Then, small blemishes started appearing on my face. Unsure if it was due to the product, I kept using it, only to find larger blemishes emerging. So, I stopped using it for a few days. When my skin improved, I tried it again for a few more days, but my skin reacted negatively once more. It's challenging to find cosmetics that work well with my skin, and unfortunately, this was another disappointment. I was also surprised to find quite a few potentially harmful ingredients, which I didn't expect given the price point. The fragrance was due to added perfume, and I was shocked by the overall poor quality of ingredients for the cost. If you have super sensitive skin like mine, I strongly recommend trying a sample first to check if it suits your skin!!! I'm considering having my brother, who has less sensitive combination-oily skin, try it out (?) and maybe I'll post another review! I might give it another shot myself too. A week seems too short to make a definitive judgment, so I plan to use it a bit longer and update my review~

  I won a spot as a Hwahae Tester! When I first applied it, the thick texture felt more like a cream than a serum. It absorbed incredibly well! What really caught my attention was how it seemed to refine my pores. Plus, the gentle ingredients immediately won me over. I was so excited to try this product, especially given Ducray's renowned reputation!

  Unfortunately, not long after application, my skin started burning intensely, and my existing blemishes became even more inflamed. My acne had been improving recently, but this serum seemed to aggravate it further. I tried to persist for three more days, thinking it might be an initial reaction, but my skin completely broke out. Reluctantly, I had to pass this on to my older sister. Despite Ducray's stellar reputation, which made me confident in trying it, something in the formula caused my blemishes to worsen and my skin to react badly. It's such a shame this product didn't work for me - I'm really disappointed it wasn't compatible with my skin.

  I was lucky enough to be selected as one of The Hwahae Testers and got to try this product. I was so excited when I received the shipping notification! The subtle fragrance was lovely. I really appreciated the matte finish typical of pore serums. It had a nice, lightweight application too. The packaging wasn't unnecessarily bulky, which I found quite practical.

  Cons

  After using it only in the evenings for 2-3 days, I tried applying it in the morning too, but was shocked when my makeup started pilling. Some days it would pill, other days it wouldn't absorb well - it was so frustrating, especially during busy mornings. It's supposed to help soothe blemish-prone skin, but that wasn't my experience at all. In fact, I started getting blemishes. Though it's meant for combination-oily skin, my face became incredibly greasy and it seemed like my sebum production increased. The itchiness was unbearable, both morning and evening, and I couldn't scratch because of my makeup. It was fine for about 4-5 days initially, but then some days it even caused a burning sensation. I ended up cleansing my face and going back to my previous routine without this serum. Despite being marketed as a daily product, I don't think I could use this daily due to the extreme itchiness.

  I got to try this product after winning a Hwahae event! First off, I didn't experience any tingling or irritation when applying it. The feeling on my skin after application is incredibly soft and smooth - it's like having baby-soft skin! It's wonderfully hydrating without feeling greasy or oily. It's truly moisturizing, but not quite like a gel cream. Right after application, it feels like a nourishing moisturizer. The scent is pleasant and mild. The texture is smooth and easy to apply. Lately, I've been focusing on applying it just to my nose area. I used to worry about pores and oiliness around my nose, but now my pores seem slightly smaller and the oiliness has decreased compared to before!

  Cons

  Those with dry skin should be cautious when using this. Personally, I have an oily T-zone but forgot about my dry U-zone and applied it all over. This resulted in small blemishes appearing in the drier areas. Now I only apply it around my nose within the T-zone. For those with oily skin in summer, or even those with dry skin, it might be good to focus application around the nose area.

  Tip

  For oily skin types, apply all over. For dry or combination skin, focus application on areas that tend to get oily.
