  Pros

  I initially tried a sample and loved it so much that I decided to purchase the full-size product. The sample was an emulsion type, I believe, but the Olive Young staff recommended this pore serum for oily skin instead of the emulsion, so that's what I ended up buying. At first, I applied it all over my face, but it stung so much that I immediately stopped using it. Not wanting to waste it, I looked online and found that it's effective for improving pores. So, I started applying it to my nose and surrounding cheek areas where my pores are larger and produce more oil. I started using it just because I didn't want to waste it, but after a month or two, I began to see results! I have oily, acne-prone skin with large pores, and I noticed my pores shrinking and blackheads reducing! However, when I tried it on some closed comedones on my chin, it didn't seem to have much effect. I've tried Bioderma's pore serum before without seeing much improvement, so I didn't have high expectations. But wow, the effects of this one are amazing! You must try it! My pores have visibly shrunk and reduced in number! After applying, it forms a thin film that stays put even when I apply emulsion over it. Personally, I feel like this film helps cleanse and protect the pores. Of course, it disappears over time. With consistent use, it feels like it's pushing blackheads and sebum from the inside out. So after a few days of use, you can extract those sebum plugs (it's like it prevents sebum from building up inside), and if you follow up with good hydration, you can prevent and eliminate blackheads! Plus, it has great absorption! It's not like an emulsion or cream texture, more of a semi-velvety feel? Every time I use it, I think it feels a bit like melted whipped cream, haha!

  Cons

  1. The amount is small compared to the price... (Though since you only need to apply a small amount, I'm not sure if the price can be considered a real drawback) 2. It stings. (This may vary from person to person, but when I applied it all over my face, it stung too much) 3. I only learned about its brightening effects from other people's reviews. (I personally didn't notice much brightening effect) 4. People say it improves skin texture, but since I only apply it to specific areas, I'm not sure about this effect

  Tip

  1. Make sure to apply it during the toner step (applying after the emulsion step doesn't seem to be as effective... Plus, the product instructions say to apply it during the toner step!) 2. Only apply a small amount! 3. If you're hesitant to apply it all over your face, it's okay to just apply it to problem areas like I do

  My skin texture became incredibly smooth, and the smaller pores visibly tightened! Since it's formulated for oily skin, it balances oil and moisture well, making it perfect to use before makeup without feeling heavy.

  Cons

  I can't really think of any downsides. I even appreciated that it's fragrance-free!

  It has a refreshing watery texture. The scent is familiar, though a bit strong. Due to its liquid consistency, it applies smoothly. After application, it leaves the skin feeling wonderfully matte. As it's a pore serum, it may feel more drying than moisturizing, but it does soften the skin texture. I've been struggling with dead skin cells remaining after exfoliation and noticeable pores on my cheeks when applying makeup, but with consistent use, I think these issues will improve significantly!

  Cons

  As someone with thick skin that doesn't easily react to skincare products, I can't speak to how it might affect those with sensitive skin or potential blemishes. If I had to point out a flaw, it's that it feels like it's stripping away too much moisture. When I tried using only this serum after cleansing for the sake of this review, my face felt slightly tingly and tight.

  I'd recommend this to those who, like me, always slather on primer.

  The absorbs well is fantastic! Although the texture looks a bit rich, it applies smoothly on the skin. The scent is very subtle, making it suitable for those with sensitive noses. True to its pore-care claims, it leaves your skin feeling smoother the next day. I did experience some blemishes on the first day, but as I continued using it, my skin texture improved and the blemishes disappeared.

  Cons

  Those with super sensitive skin might find it quite drying. On the first day of use, you may experience some pilling with makeup, but this improves as your skin adapts to the product.

  Tip

  As this is a pore-care product, apply a thin layer only on areas where pores are a concern. Don't slather it on generously!

  Pros

  The texture is like an emulsion and absorbs well, leaving a fresh finish. The scent was mild to me. When I first received it and used it for about 3-4 days, my makeup applied beautifully over it and I was completely satisfied! It seemed to make my pores less noticeable too. I think it's a really great serum for improving skin texture.

  Cons

  I'm not sure about its soothing effects, and it doesn't seem to help with minor redness. When applying, I felt a slight tingling sensation on areas with blemishes (it stings more after exfoliating). I already had folliculitis on my skin, and about a week into using this, I noticed a breakout on my chin. I thought maybe the folliculitis was flaring up again, but then a blemish appeared on my cheek too. The only change in my skincare routine was this serum. So now I'm only applying it to my nose area and pores.

  Tip

  Those with super sensitive skin might experience irritation and breakouts, so do a patch test before use! Rather than applying it daily, it might be better to use it once every 2-3 days.

  I received this product as an event prize and decided to give it a try. While I'm classified as having dry skin, I actually have combination skin leaning towards dry! I'm usually wary of new cosmetics due to my sensitive skin. Typically, my skin reacts immediately if a product doesn't suit me, but I was pleasantly surprised when I applied this for the first time. I continued using it morning and night for about three days. Initially, I was quite satisfied as it seemed to reduce redness and minimize my pores. The texture is similar to an ointment, and while the fragrance isn't unpleasant, it does smell a bit artificial.

  Although it seemed fine on the first day, I continued using it for about three days. Then, small blemishes started appearing on my face. Unsure if it was due to the product, I kept using it, only to find larger blemishes emerging. So, I stopped using it for a few days. When my skin improved, I tried it again for a few more days, but my skin reacted negatively once more. It's challenging to find cosmetics that work well with my skin, and unfortunately, this was another disappointment. I was also surprised to find quite a few potentially harmful ingredients, which I didn't expect given the price point. The fragrance was due to added perfume, and I was shocked by the overall poor quality of ingredients for the cost. If you have super sensitive skin like mine, I strongly recommend trying a sample first to check if it suits your skin!!! I'm considering having my brother, who has less sensitive combination-oily skin, try it out (?) and maybe I'll post another review! I might give it another shot myself too. A week seems too short to make a definitive judgment, so I plan to use it a bit longer and update my review~

  I won a spot as a Hwahae Tester! When I first applied it, the thick texture felt more like a cream than a serum. It absorbed incredibly well! What really caught my attention was how it seemed to refine my pores. Plus, the gentle ingredients immediately won me over. I was so excited to try this product, especially given Ducray's renowned reputation!

  Cons

  Unfortunately, not long after application, my skin started burning intensely, and my existing blemishes became even more inflamed. My acne had been improving recently, but this serum seemed to aggravate it further. I tried to persist for three more days, thinking it might be an initial reaction, but my skin completely broke out. Reluctantly, I had to pass this on to my older sister. Despite Ducray's stellar reputation, which made me confident in trying it, something in the formula caused my blemishes to worsen and my skin to react badly. It's such a shame this product didn't work for me - I'm really disappointed it wasn't compatible with my skin.

  I got to try this as part of The Hwahae Testers program. I have dry skin with some visible pores on my nose and cheeks, so I focused on using this serum in those areas. It contains AHA, which I'm used to as I regularly exfoliate with AHA and BHA. The Keracnyl serum seemed to suit my skin well. Despite containing AHA, the product felt quite gentle. I was worried that since it's a pore-focused serum, it might contain ingredients like ethanol that could dry out my skin after application. Happily, that wasn't the case. Instead, it has a creamy texture that seemed to care for my pores gently without interfering with hydration. Naturally, I didn't experience any blemishes. I even felt like the pores on my nose and cheeks became less noticeable. The day after using the Keracnyl serum, I had the impression that my pores were slightly less prominent.

  Cons

  The price feels a bit steep, but that might be because I don't usually use serums or essences.

  I was lucky enough to be selected as one of The Hwahae Testers and got to try this product. I was so excited when I received the shipping notification! The subtle fragrance was lovely. I really appreciated the matte finish typical of pore serums. It had a nice, lightweight application too. The packaging wasn't unnecessarily bulky, which I found quite practical.

  Cons

  After using it only in the evenings for 2-3 days, I tried applying it in the morning too, but was shocked when my makeup started pilling. Some days it would pill, other days it wouldn't absorb well - it was so frustrating, especially during busy mornings. It's supposed to help soothe blemish-prone skin, but that wasn't my experience at all. In fact, I started getting blemishes. Though it's meant for combination-oily skin, my face became incredibly greasy and it seemed like my sebum production increased. The itchiness was unbearable, both morning and evening, and I couldn't scratch because of my makeup. It was fine for about 4-5 days initially, but then some days it even caused a burning sensation. I ended up cleansing my face and going back to my previous routine without this serum. Despite being marketed as a daily product, I don't think I could use this daily due to the extreme itchiness.
