As a Body Shop user, I'm on my 3rd bottle and it's not bad at all!
ConsThe accumulated dead skin and residues don't easily come off with just water ๐ข When it sticks to my hair, it's really a disaster ๐คช๐คช
TipI use it about once a week, and when I asked at the Body Shop store, they said that after using it, removing the residue with a cleansing toner or gently washing your face is better than just cleansing, and the residue will come off quickly. I do this and then use the Celvien toner wash, and the dirt-like things stuck on the side come off completely!

It's a Gommage-type product. After using it, the skin feels smooth without any rough patches or residue.
ConsAfter peeling, there are sticky residues left in some areas. According to the sales staff, the nutrient components get clumped up in areas with hair like the eyebrows, but regardless, the residue doesn't wash off easily with just water, which is a bit inconvenient.
TipYou need to use a cotton pad with toner to remove the residue after rinsing with water.

But after using it, my skin feels soft and smooth, which makes me feel good!
ConsThe more I rub it, the more it creates a powdery residue that's hard to wipe off... This product is really not great. It gets tangled in my fine hairs and doesn't come off easily. If I try to pull it off forcefully, it even pulls out my fine hairs, which is really painful. I won't be repurchasing this.
TipIf you don't have much fine body hair, this product might be okay for you. But for someone like me who has a lot of fine body hair... I don't recommend it.

The staff member recommended this product, saying it's not irritating and has good ingredients, so I purchased it. While it wasn't irritating, it didn't have a dramatic effect either.
ConsI have an excessive amount of facial fuzz, so it was a mess trying to wash it off. The staff member said it would be fine to cleanse with the foam, but that method didn't align with the original intent of the product (the staff said the remaining ingredients would benefit the skin after water cleansing). So I requested a refund without hesitation.
TipI recommend this to those without facial fuzz! I've been using the Drops line and my skin has improved a lot.

At first, it may not seem like the Hwahae is doing anything when you apply it to your face, but as you keep massaging it, little chunks start to form, and you can feel the exfoliation happening. At first, I wasn't sure if it was actually exfoliating or not, but after doing a thorough cleanse with a cleansing water first and then using this, I noticed that some leftover foundation residue came out, and the little chunks were a skin-colored tone. Haha The store employee said this is great for removing fine dust and residue, and I can definitely agree with that. The texture itself also feels very gentle! The Hwahae feels really soft and smooth, and it's not at all irritating, which is great.
ConsBut the exfoliating effect isn't as intense as I expected. Even after the final cleansing, my skin doesn't feel incredibly smooth and soft. But it's still better than not using it at all, of course. And lastly, they said just a water rinse would be enough, but the Hwahae doesn't really come off completely with just water, and there's an unpleasant residue left behind... (I can't quite find the right words) So I end up doing a final cleanse with a foam cleanser as well. The last downside is probably just the ingredients, unfortunately.
TipA water rinse alone leaves an unpleasant residue, so I have to do a final cleanse with a foam cleanser as well.
