  Pros

  After using it, you can feel your skin texture becoming smoother and dead skin cells being neatly managed! As a loyal Body Shop user, I'm on my third bottle and it's not bad at all!

  Cons

  The loosened dead skin cells and residue don't come off easily with just water. And if it gets stuck in your hair, it's a real nightmare!

  Tip

  I use it about once every two weeks. When I asked at the Body Shop store, they said that instead of removing residue with a cleanser after use, it's better to wipe it off with toner or gently massage it as if you're doing a light cleanse. It comes off quickly that way! After using this, I do a light cleanse with Cellbien toner wash, and the grime-like residue comes off cleanly!

  Pros

  Exfoliates gently without irritation. It's a gommage-type product. After use, my skin feels smooth without any dead skin cells detectable to the touch.

  Cons

  After exfoliating, sticky residue remains in patches. The sales associate said it's nourishing ingredients clumping around areas with hair like eyebrows, but regardless, it's a bit inconvenient that these residues don't wash off easily even with water.

  Tip

  After rinsing with water, you need to use a cotton pad with toner to remove the remaining residue.

  Pros

  I received this as a sample and was pleasantly surprised by the generous amount in each pack - enough for two uses! The texture is like a watery gel, both in the pack and when applying to the face. It's quite amusing! The next day, my skin felt noticeably smoother, so it seems to have a good exfoliating effect. Plus, being a The Body Shop product, it would make a lovely gift too.

  Cons

  I'm not thrilled with the ingredients... they seem rather lackluster. While it wasn't completely ineffective, it wasn't particularly impressive either. Considering that, the price isn't exactly a bargain. Personally, I prefer other peeling gels where you can actually feel the dead skin cells coming off - it's oddly satisfying. With this one, no matter how much I rubbed, it felt like it was just being absorbed into my skin rather than exfoliating. I hate to say it, but I think other drugstore brands might be better. Sorry, The Body Shop...

  Tip

  For better results, try applying it to the areas you want to exfoliate, let it dry slightly, then gently massage with your fingertips. It seems to work more effectively this way!
