It absorbs well and applies smoothly! There's a subtle fragrance. (This was a sample I received with the Kyun Mi-ri Pact purchase) Since I usually use fragrance-free products, I immediately noticed the scent in this one! It almost feels like applying perfume. Due to the PEG in the ingredients, I'm a bit hesitant to use it on my face, so I'm only applying it to my neck and body. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 28, 2018
Great hydration power Moisturizing effect is excellent Lovely fragrance No blemishes The case looks luxurious and beautiful! It's a bit pricey There's some oiliness, so not recommended for those with oily skin Highly recommended for dry skin types! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 6, 2017
Hello, this is a Hwahae Trial Reviewer review. To start, my skin type is combination - oily and dry on the T-zone, with rosacea on the cheeks and a sensitive, dry combination skin. The instructions say to use the skin toner first after cleansing. I previously used my regular toner to prep my skin, and then applied the Age 20's Essence. It has a slightly watery texture and a peach scent. When applied, it feels very moisturizing. I gently patted it in and it absorbed quickly and smoothly. As someone who enjoys sake scents, I really like the fragrance, and I think it can be used before or after the toner without any issues. Just adjust the order based on your skin's needs. I find that applying it after the toner makes it spread more smoothly and absorb better. I would repurchase this. The volume is generous, and the easy dosage control is great! Depending on my skin and body condition, I've noticed a few small blemishes or bumps appearing on my forehead, chin, and around my mouth area. I'm not sure if this product is the cause, but I've been continuing to use it. I haven't had to stop using it before. If the blemishes don't go away or continue to worsen, I'll consider discontinuing use. Definitely don't use cotton pads to apply this! It's better to just dispense a small amount into your palm and gently spread it over your skin to absorb it. Since it's a bit thicker, it doesn't absorb well on cotton. Apply it after your toner - it spreads much more smoothly that way. If you experience any increased blemishes due to the brightening properties, it may mean your skin isn't compatible, so it's best to stop using it in that case. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 4, 2017
The texture is like a mix of skin and lotion, and the fragrance is also luxurious. On the first day, I tested it by washing my face and applying this product alone, and I felt dryness (dry skin) about 50 minutes later. However, after searching online, I found that this is not just a regular essence, but a boosting first essence that helps replenish the moisture lost after cleansing and allows the next skincare products to be better absorbed. After using it for about a week, I noticed that my makeup applied better and lasted longer, and the flakiness around my nose was reduced, even in the colder weather. The product also contains ingredients for wrinkle improvement and whitening, and the volume is generous, so it's very satisfactory. (The photo below is taken 5 hours after applying makeup.) As mentioned earlier, this is a boosting first essence that helps other products be better absorbed. So if you use this alone without other moisturizing products, it may feel drying, and your makeup may not apply well. You'll need to apply other moisturizing products as well. And I'm not sure about the wrinkle improvement effect, as I've only used it for a short period. You'll need to use it for a longer time to see the results. My basic skincare routine for dry skin in the cold and dry winter: Water cleansing -> Signature first essence -> Watery toner -> Light moisturizer -> Rich cream -> Rich sunscreen = 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 4, 2017
1. Lovely fragrance - Has a sweet peach-like scent 2. Quick absorption - Absorbs nicely and leaves skin feeling moisturized 3. Gentle on the skin - Did not cause any irritation 1. Packaging - The container is heavy and feels fragile, so I had to be careful - The design feels overly classic 2. Texture - I've been using watery toners after cleansing to remove residue and for hydration. This lotion-type texture was a bit awkward to use as the first step after cleansing. Applying it a few times and massaging it in with your hands can increase the moisturizing effect and make it last longer - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 4, 2017
1. The fragrance is nice. When I looked at the ingredients, I saw that it contains Jeju Baekhwa (Jeju Artemisia). No wonder the scent felt familiar! I like Jeju Baekhwa, and this is the first time I've seen it in a skincare product. The fragrance is nice, especially the lingering scent. 2. I can feel my skin becoming smooth and silky. I noticed it when I applied it in the evening and washed my face the next morning. That was nice. 3. The cost-effectiveness seems good. Considering the essence, the volume, and other factors, it seems reasonable. I was using the Soom essence before this, and in comparison, the cost-effectiveness of this product is great. (Of course, the ingredients are different...) 4. It doesn't flow down but is nicely viscous. The Soom essence I used before was watery and would sometimes drip when I applied it on the back of my hand. This one is viscous, so that doesn't happen. It may not be suitable for trouble-prone, oily skin. I'm not dealing with clogged pores or acne, but I felt a slight itchiness (I tend to get pimples around my mouth and chin area). When I reduced the amount I applied, it got better. It seems to have relatively less moisture compared to the previously used watery essence. After washing my face, I apply this essence in the amount shown in the photo. Then, I apply a lotion that suits my skin in a similar amount. And I finish with an eye gel! I think I need to use it for a bit longer to feel any dramatic skin improvement. For now, it's good. I was looking for an alternative because the one I used before was too expensive, and this works well as a replacement. Oh, and I've seen many reviews saying the bottle is heavy, but it's fine for me. The one I used before was 100ml, and this 150ml one doesn't feel much heavier. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 4, 2017
I thought the First Essence would be a clear water-type essence, but it turned out to be a milky-colored, viscous formula. So I wiped it off with a toner and applied it like a skin. As winter approached, I felt that just using a cleansing toner was not quite enough to maintain my skin texture, but this essence absorbed well and I personally found the fragrance satisfactory. While I'm not sure about the whitening effects, applying it left my skin texture refined, glowing, and moisturized. After giving birth, I developed redness and sensitivity, and many cosmetics would sting my face, but the Signature Essence did not cause any trouble. If the price range is affordable, I would consider repurchasing it. The packaging is too heavy. It's a glass bottle, and when my baby touched it, it fell and shattered with pieces flying everywhere... Is this to give a premium quality feel? The price also seems a bit high. Instead of soaking cotton pads, I pumped the essence directly onto my hands and gently patted it in, which helped it absorb better. As a First Essence, it provided sufficient nourishment, so I could apply the subsequent steps lightly without feeling any dryness. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 2, 2017
I have sensitive skin that is prone to dryness. I tried using this instead of the thin lotion I was using before. The feel of using it is good. It absorbs into the skin without leaving a greasy or heavy feeling. Some products can leave a coated feeling on the skin that I don't like, but this one just sinks right in. The spreadability is also nice. Since the formula is thin, it spreads easily across the skin. As soon as I apply it, I can definitely feel the moisturizing effect. I also thought the peach scent was pleasant. However, the level of moisture is a bit disappointing compared to my expectations. My dry-skinned friend and even my oily-skinned sister said they would need to layer a cream on top of this. Since it's only been 2 weeks, I'm not sure if it has significantly improved skin dryness or made my skin fundamentally more hydrated. The initial feel is nice, but I'm not sure about the long-term effects yet... The strong scent is divisive. I was fine with it, but my sister ended up not being able to use it because of the fragrance. As for repurchasing, considering the price, I'm not sure... I'll have to use it more and see if I need to make any adjustments. I applied the toner by dabbing it on with a cotton pad, then patted it into the skin. They said this would help with absorption. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 30, 2017
❤️Hwahae Trial Reviewer Review The Ageitowages product is very famous for the Kyungmiri Pact!! I remember using the Pact before and being satisfied, so I've been diligently using the product and leaving a review. ▪ Fragrance - It has the same fragrance as the Kyungmiri Pact - It's a subtle fragrance, but I personally like it ▪ Absorption - Some people say it doesn't absorb well, but personally, I found the absorption to be good - It's a runny formula, but it absorbs well and doesn't leave a sticky feeling after application - They say it gives a glow to the face, but I didn't really notice this at first - But if you use it consistently, a subtle glow starts to appear on the face I have sensitive skin, so I always test products thoroughly and switch if I experience any troubles, but this product turned out to be gentler than expected and quite nice to use. It can't address all skin concerns, but I'm using it as part of my routine - Toner > Mask > Oil > Essence > Moisturizer > Sunscreen > Mist, and I'm using it at the Essence step. The bottle is too heavy... it would have been better if it was a bit lighter... The glass bottle with the gold lid looks like my mom's cosmetics... - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinNov 28, 2017
Hwahae Trial Reviewer Review (Yujeon Moisturizing, Tizeon Sebum Control) The texture is thinner and applies very lightly compared to the formula. The scent was nice, but it's a pity that it's classified as a harmful ingredient. I usually apply fragrance-free cosmetics, so... After cleansing, I patted the product directly onto my skin without drying with a towel. It applied thinly and lightly, so I layered it a few times. There was no significant breakout or trouble. It seems to be effective for hydration. Before using this, I had various breakouts on my face. I used a specialized tool to extract the severe inflammation on my chin, cheeks, and philtrum area, and applied acne patches. For the remaining blemishes, I just left them and applied the Signature First Essence instead of toner, and the Avène Cicalfate Restorative Cream very thinly only on the dry areas, and it improved a lot. It's said to be effective for brightening and wrinkle improvement, but I'm not sure about the wrinkles, but my skin tone seemed to get brighter. I'll keep applying it and update the review on the wrinkle part. My shoulders got quite tanned in the summer, so I'll try applying it there as well. Even without the fragrance, it would be better to remove it. Thinking of it as an essence, it's very light. However, heavier is not always better, so I applied it in multiple thin layers, and that worked better. I often skip the cream, and just layered the essence several times and didn't feel overly dry, but it wasn't enough on its own. Don't apply a large amount all at once. Gently pat it in to help it absorb well. Avoid applying on severe inflammatory blemishes. Add an oil-based product like an eye cream on the eye and lip areas.
