I tried a sample without much expectation, but I was amazed at how hydrating it was. It seems perfect for when your skin feels dry. While it's great for those with dry skin, I think it might not be suitable for people with oily skin types. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 14, 2020
My skin is combination dehydrated and sensitive, with quite a bit of acne. I apply this as the first step after cleansing, and it's hydrating without being sticky. The best part is that it's made my small blemishes disappear! I don't really have any complaints. Even for those with extremely dry skin, you wouldn't use this alone anyway. As a first step, it provides enough nourishment, and there are no other flaws in this essence. Instead of using multiple pumps at once, I find it works better to apply two pumps twice. This method seems to be more effective for me. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinFeb 4, 2020
The Age20's Essence is wonderfully hydrating and moisture-rich. It absorbs well into the skin and seems to provide excellent hydration. Best of all, there's no tightness after use, and my skin feels delightfully moisturized. As someone with slightly combination-dry skin, I noticed a bit of stickiness after applying a thin layer. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJul 16, 2019
It's so hydrating! On lazy days, I just apply this as my base skincare and do my makeup - it doesn't feel dry at all and creates a great canvas. I'm totally satisfied with the scent and how well it absorbs. Even with my oily skin, I don't find it too greasy, and it's great for evening use too. I received this as a gift and tried it out, but when I saw the actual price, I was a bit shocked... It's not quite good enough to justify that cost. It's perfect for those times when you can't be bothered with a multi-step skincare routine. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJun 18, 2019
It's great how moisturizing it is and how quickly it absorbs into the skin! The scent is a bit strong, so it might be a love-it-or-hate-it situation for many people. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinJun 8, 2019
My skin tends to be quite dry, but this essence seems to maintain hydration for a long time The skincare products I usually use have very subtle scents, but this one has a more noticeable fragrance, which might be hit or miss for some people - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 30, 2019
This product was great because it combines skin toner, essence, and cream all in one, making it convenient to apply. Even in winter, using just this kept my skin from feeling dry and maintained its hydration. As someone who can't use cosmetics with strong fragrances, I appreciated that this had a subtle scent, making it easy for me to use regularly! The disappointing aspect was that despite having super sensitive, dehydrated, and blemish-prone skin, and being told it had a soothing effect on blemishes when I bought it, I didn't really notice much improvement in that area... I loved how after applying, when I gently patted my face with my warm hands, I could feel the hydration sinking in! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 18, 2018
It's moisturizing, not sticky, and absorbs well. It's pretty good even when used on its own. I haven't been using it for long, so I don't have many complaints, but since you need to shake it before use, it seems to leak a bit. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 28, 2018
Great hydration power Moisturizing effect is excellent Lovely fragrance No blemishes The case looks luxurious and beautiful! It's a bit pricey There's some oiliness, so not recommended for those with oily skin Highly recommended for dry skin types! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 6, 2017
Hello, this is a Hwahae Trial Reviewer review. To start, my skin type is combination - oily and dry on the T-zone, with rosacea on the cheeks and a sensitive, dry combination skin. The instructions say to use the skin toner first after cleansing. I previously used my regular toner to prep my skin, and then applied the Age 20's Essence. It has a slightly watery texture and a peach scent. When applied, it feels very moisturizing. I gently patted it in and it absorbed quickly and smoothly. As someone who enjoys sake scents, I really like the fragrance, and I think it can be used before or after the toner without any issues. Just adjust the order based on your skin's needs. I find that applying it after the toner makes it spread more smoothly and absorb better. I would repurchase this. The volume is generous, and the easy dosage control is great! Depending on my skin and body condition, I've noticed a few small blemishes or bumps appearing on my forehead, chin, and around my mouth area. I'm not sure if this product is the cause, but I've been continuing to use it. I haven't had to stop using it before. If the blemishes don't go away or continue to worsen, I'll consider discontinuing use. Definitely don't use cotton pads to apply this! It's better to just dispense a small amount into your palm and gently spread it over your skin to absorb it. Since it's a bit thicker, it doesn't absorb well on cotton. Apply it after your toner - it spreads much more smoothly that way. If you experience any increased blemishes due to the brightening properties, it may mean your skin isn't compatible, so it's best to stop using it in that case.
