The slight cooling sensation would be great for using in the summer. -Wow...I got selected for the Hwahae Trial Reviewer program??Haha
Cons-For me, the most important factors in a sunscreen are the absence of white cast, smooth application, moisturization, and how well it works with makeup. This product is only good in terms of application, but the rest are not great. -White cast: There is a white cast. If you apply the proper amount, your face becomes very pale! It's completely different from the neck area. I really dislike the unique pale, blotchy white appearance of sunscreen white cast. Even 30 minutes after application, my face is still very pale. -Moisturization: It's not as drying as mineral sunscreens, but the moisturization is still not satisfactory. -Makeup wears off and cakes!!! This is the most critical downside. I have dry skin, so I only use moisturizing makeup products, which usually don't cake. But with this sunscreen, the area between my eyes and nose cakes, and most importantly, my makeup wears off. On the day I took photos, it was a dusty day and I was wearing a mask. When the mask lightly touches my cheek and chin, the makeup just slides off. I lightly swiped it with my hand, and it just slid right off. -Oiliness: It's more oily than expected. It's not a problem for me since I have dry skin, but it might not be great for those with oily skin.
Tip1. The formula is a sky-blue color with a slightly fluffy texture. The application is good. 2-3. The oil blotting paper test is from right after application and 10 hours later. There is quite a bit of oil! 4. The makeup slides off as shown in the photo. The large patch is where I lightly swiped it with my hand, and the smaller scattered areas are where the mask rubbed against my face. Even without the mask, the area around my eyes also cakes up. I couldn't capture the white cast well with my phone camera. As a Hwahae Trial Reviewer product, I tried it with different creams, but the sliding off issue persisted across all of them (my usual sunscreen doesn't have this problem!). The review may seem a bit rushed, but the makeup caking and sliding off is such a major issue that I couldn't find any outstanding pros to make up for it. I've tried some other Klairs products like the BB cream, serum, vitamin drops, and cream, and the brand is overall quite average. There wasn't anything particularly special about them for me, especially the cream and moisture serum which were quite drying. The BB cream has decent coverage, a natural color and moisture, fairly long-lasting, and a nice finish, so I can recommend that. Anyway, I'm grateful to the Hwahae team for the opportunity to be a Trial Reviewer. Even though I got the product for free, I'm in awe of how thorough, meticulous, and objective the Hwahae reviewers are!

(Warm Tone 23 / Blemishes, Partial Redness / Combination Skin) *Texture - The texture is fluffy and resembles a rich cream. *Stickiness - When applied to the face, it becomes powdery and not at all sticky. *Spreadability - It applies smoothly and evenly. *Blemishes - I've been using it consistently since receiving it, and no new blemishes have appeared. *Effectiveness - It gives a luminous glow and effectively conceals redness. There is a slight cooling sensation. Over time, it leaves a radiant finish on the face.
Cons*Brightness - As a person with naturally darker skin, the whitening cream and mineral sunscreen make it too pale for me to use. When I tested it on the back of my hand, it was extremely bright. When applied to the face, the bluish tone makes my complexion look very sallow. Applying the full recommended amount gives a ghostly appearance. *Dryness - Once absorbed, the face feels powdery and dry. Dry-skinned individuals should be extra diligent with their skincare routine. *Fragrance - This product has a distinct scent that lingers for quite a while. Personally, I dislike it. *Makeup Application - When I apply makeup over this, it tends to peel or shift. Even with proper absorption, the same issue occurred. There was also emphasis on the pores around my nose. *Solo Use - This may work well for those with very fair skin. But for someone like me with a significantly different natural skin tone, it can look unnatural when used alone. As a sunscreen, it does not cover blemishes, pimples, or pigmentation.
TipI recommend using this product like a color corrector, applying a small amount only to the areas with redness. For full-face application, it's better to use a different sunscreen. When applied to the body, it provides a wonderful brightening effect!

I liked it. Since I tend to have redness, I often used green-based products when wearing makeup. But the green ones can sometimes look too pale and ashy. This Serenity color, however, has a bright, soft, and natural-looking finish! The formula has a water-drop-like texture, so it has a cooling effect. When you gently rub and spread it, it applies even better. I'm not the type to spend a lot of time outside, so I didn't use a lot. But the more I wear it, the more naturally it blends into my original skin tone, making it look like my own skin. Right after application, it has a soft, powdery finish, but over time, it develops a nice, subtle glow.
ConsIt's not exactly a whitening product, but since the color itself is already quite pale (for reducing redness), it can sometimes look a bit too pale when applied, compared to other products. However, I still thought it was fine, as it can make you look like you're just wearing a CC cream. As I mentioned, I haven't worn it for long periods, but when I remove it, there is some redness that comes back. This is common when switching skincare products, so I think I'll need to use it consistently a bit longer to see how my skin adjusts. Since I'm quite sensitive, I'm a bit picky about these things. Ah, and the water-drop-like texture means you need to keep rubbing it in, so it's best to avoid using it with products that tend to pill up.
TipThis was a great opportunity for me to learn about the 'Dear Claire's' brand and try out their product. I used it for a week and wrote this review with an objective perspective.

When applied, it has a slight pudding-like feel. For those who dislike the heavy, oily feel of 100% organic sunscreens or the thick, sticky texture of 100% mineral sunscreens, this hybrid organic-mineral formula could be a great option. It provides a natural, radiant glow to the complexion, almost like a CC cream, and immediately makes the skin appear healthier. My sister, who has dry skin, tried it and really liked it. She said the white cast was natural, the oil-water balance was good, and she didn't experience any breakouts. The smooth application and cooling sensation make it a great choice for summer use. It also absorbs quickly into the skin.
ConsAs a Hwahae Trial Reviewer, I'll try to evaluate this as objectively as possible, but it may be challenging. The organic sunscreen ingredients can be irritating for sensitive skin. Personally, I experienced some redness and blemishes. The product is known for its unique cooling properties, but the organic filters may not provide the same effective cooling as the mineral filters. The first ingredient, cyclopentasiloxane, is a type of dimethicone that improves spreadability and moisturization, but it has been associated with allergic reactions and potential endocrine disruption if used long-term. Additionally, the inclusion of caprylic acid, derived from coconut oil, may clog pores, so those with oily skin should be cautious. The fact that titanium dioxide is listed before zinc oxide is also a concern, as zinc oxide is generally considered the more gentle mineral filter.
TipThose with dry or normal skin can likely use this product without issue, but those with oily, especially sensitive, skin should exercise caution.

It has a 'Hwahae Trial Reviewer' function, making it suitable as a base substitute.
ConsThe volume is too small compared to the price. There are occasional instances of slippage when applied by hand.
TipAfter completing the base makeup, dab the sunscreen on with a puff, and it will adhere well and blend seamlessly into the makeup.
