There's definitely the expected cooling effect, and it doesn't feel dry at all, nor does it feel sticky. You can sense the typical adherence of a balm-type product. Despite having a fairly high sun protection factor (SPF50, PA+++), it didn't irritate my skin, which is prone to contact allergies from certain ingredients. 1. Unsatisfied with skin appearance Based on reviews, I was most excited about its potential as a makeup base or for a bare-faced look, along with the cooling effect. However, in my experience, it's just a sunscreen with white cast and some brightening effect. The problem is that when applied, it seems to emphasize skin texture tremendously. While it's nice that it's not drying, the combination of sunscreen-like stickiness and accentuated texture makes my skin look unattractive. Although it doesn't significantly interfere with foundation or cushion application, I don't want to use this product with its characteristic heaviness of mineral sunscreens for makeup. I prefer using organic sunscreens without white cast and with a smoother texture for makeup. I intended to use this product when not wearing makeup, but it didn't work out. 2. Questions about the small amount and proper application for sun protection For liquid formulas, we're supposed to apply about two finger-lengths or a 500 won coin-sized amount, right? But this cushion balm formula is new to me, so I'm unsure how much to apply for effective protection. It's ambiguous because unlike solid formulas, you're not directly applying it to the skin, but using a puff as an intermediary. (It would have been helpful and increased trust in the brand if instructions were included on the packaging or product description, instead of just emphasizing that it's a new type of formula!) As a result, I ended up applying it twice all over my face, and now I can see the bottom of the container in less than a month. Honestly, it's disappointing, especially considering there are no refills and it's not particularly cheap. I won't repurchase, but why don't they sell refills separately? It doesn't seem environmentally friendly. This might be good for those with dry skin who can't use organic sunscreens. It could be suitable for people who dislike getting product on their hands, or for those who don't use powder in their makeup routine and want to apply sun protection over their makeup. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 24, 2019
It naturally evens skin tone and is easy to reapply. For light outings, I'm not embarrassed to wear just this alone. It's slightly sticky, and after a while, it can feel a bit dry on the skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 28, 2018
After using about 5 bottles, I've noticed that compared to other sun products, this one naturally evens out my complexion. I'm currently living in Vietnam, and with consistent use when going out, my face hasn't tanned much. For outdoor activities, I just need to pat on this sun cushion and apply lipstick for a natural makeup look. There's a bit of stickiness at night? It doesn't exactly feel powdery dry. Considering the price, the amount you get is disappointingly small. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 12, 2018
It has a refreshing cooling effect when applied. The slight brightening effect means those who don't wear much makeup could just pair this with some lip color and be ready to go. There's a bit of stickiness that can make your skin feel slightly itchy after a while (I'll need to use it more to be sure). While it doesn't provide much coverage, if I apply it too thickly, it leaves a white cast, so I'm using thin layers. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 30, 2018
It's moisturizing and definitely brightens the complexion. I love how easy it is to apply. There's some shine, so it might be challenging for those with oily skin. It's also a bit sticky. As it's a sunscreen, don't expect coverage - use it solely for sun protection! It's perfect for those quick coffee runs outside! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinOct 1, 2017
It has a radiant glow and provides a tone-up effect. It can be applied lightly and easily. Not recommended for those who dislike sticky textures. It can cause hair to stick together. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 12, 2017
This is a hydration-deficient combination skin type, but when applied, it feels moisturizing. It doesn't smear even when layered, and it's great that I can reapply it throughout the day. My face is on the darker side, but with just the makeup base, it provides enough tone-up that I don't need to do additional makeup most of the time. It's a bit sticky in the summer. When applying makeup, if you use too much, it tends to smear. The product amount is low, and I had to buy a new one every month when reapplying it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinJul 22, 2017
The color of the product is refreshing and moist, absorbing well into the skin. It gives a radiant glow to the face. I thought it was for summer use, but it feels too sticky even when I'm sweating. I should use it in the winter instead. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMay 2, 2017
It corrects the yellow skin tone of Asians. When applied, it feels cool, moisturizing, and applies transparently for a natural look. It seems suitable to use as a makeup base as well. As the weather gets hotter, it becomes very sticky, and dust and hair easily stick to it. And after using it for a while, holes start to appear - there are holes popping up here and there. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 20, 2017
The design is beautiful~~ The unique concept is great! It's a blue sun cushion but it's not drying~ The stickiness is disappointing~ It's moisturizing, but I think it'll get greasy in the summer Dust tends to stick to my face ㅜㅜ
